Hampton has never failed us and this stay was no exception. We were just passing through on our way to PCB, FL.

Thanks Hampton for being so reliable!!

Room Tip: This is a great alternative to staying in Mobile. Just a few miles past it in a great location.

Leah J,

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay with us. It was great to have you here and we look forward to serving you again in the future. You do not have to be in such a rush to get to PCB, there is plenty to do right here. During your next trip schedule a day to spend with us and find out what Mobile and Daphne have to offer. Any Associate will be glad to help with suggestions and details about local attractions.

I have stayed at this property several times over the past 6 years. It has been recently remodeled and is in a good location next to I-10 on the eastern shore of Mobile Bay. If you are coming to Mobile as a tourist or the eastern shore this is a good place to stay. Numerous restaurants are nearby and the Battleship is about a 5-6 minute drive away. Half of the rooms face the bay for a picturesque view along with downtown Mobile which is about 10 minutes away. The only negative is that parking near the entrance is somewhat limited which means that you might have to park down the hill from the property which is a relative easy 1 minute walk from the front door. Only a problem if it is raining. Good breakfast and managers reception in the evening.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that faces the bay.

Mike60984,

It was great having you here and we appreciate you taking the time to let us know how we did. We look forward to seeing you again in the future. Sitting sort of in the middle of Gulf Shores and Mobile we provide access to not only the attractions you mentioned, but beaches, museums, shopping and more. During your next stay be sure to ask an Associate for suggestions and details about all the great things to do around the hotel.

We spent a night here on the way to Florida. It was OK. Get the cheaper room that doesn't face the water because there is not much water/view. The bed was comfortable. Glad we were only staying one night.

sandcastles08,

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your stay with us. We enjoyed having you here and look forward to serving you again in the future. Keep in mind that the view improves as you go higher above the ground. The 4th and 5th floor Bayview Rooms provide quite a view. You will be able to see miles worth of the Mobile Bay and the city of Mobile across the Bay from your private balcony. And sunsets over the Bay are phenomenal. You can watch them from the Lobby balcony during our Sunset reception in the evenings if you wish.

I wished I would of tried staying at a Hampton inn sooner! I love this place! The only draw back here was parking and the non refundable $50.00 pet fee. I had to park a decent walk away from the hotel while lugging my exhausted husband, our two little dogs, and our overnight bags. The roommand bathroom are gorgeous and very clean. Next time I drive through Alabama I plan on staying here!

MaryP8,

Thank you for writing a review of your stay with us. It was great having you here and we look forward to serving you again in the future. If you did not get a Bay View room during this stay you should definitely check on out during your next stay. The view over the Mobile Bay is amazing, especially in the evenings as the sun sets behind the city of mobile. If you don't have a Bay View room you are always welcome to use the Lobby Balcony to watch the animals and birds on the water or the sunset.

We stayed here on the way to Orlando and found the beds very comfortable and soft. The breakfast was very good. My only issue was that the water would back up in the tub as you showered and the water pressure was very weak. They even brought extra towels up when I called for them.

BIG12CONF,

Terribly sorry about the inconvenience you experienced with the water pressure. We will have maintenance check you room to ensure that every thing is working properly. If you are around in the evenings be sure to stop by the lobby and enjoy our evening Sunset Reception. Featuring light snacks and beverages it is a great way to enjoy the fabulous Eastern Shore sunsets.
