Had very friendly and informative information from Jessica before we left UK. She advised us where to get the free taxi ( Cooptaxis) from outside arrivals and sure enough there was a whole line of cars waiting outside. It was a two minute journey to the Hotel which is only a stones throw from the airport but across a 6 lane highway so you take your life in your hands to get there if you decide to walk!

Check in was swift and very friendly and we were in our room within 10 minutes of leaving the airport.

The room was large, on the ground floor and very quiet so we slept well. The shower next morning was brilliant, a powerful jet of lovely hot weather and then we went to breakfast. This was included in our room rate and was quite an extensive buffet of fresh fruits, meats and cheeses and sweet pastries - we still haven’t got used to the very very strong coffee but learning to adapt to it. Check out was as quick as check in and we were outside and in another taxi and back at the airport before you could say “ Bob’s your uncle”. This time the fare cost ten Brazilian Real. A bargain in anybody’s money. If we ever find ourselves in this part of the world again we would not hesitate in staying at this Hotel again. Thank you for your friendliness and efficiency.

We stayed two nights and got suprised by a few things: same of the staff spoke English , the staff was very friendly, the diner and breakfast was good, they did not gave straws in drinks because of the environment and for just 10R the taxi brought us to the airport.
Just one thing: the room was in general clean. But the wall next to the bed, the doors and window should be cleaned also!

The hotel is a Ibis, the room is standard, no luxos. It was clean. The check in was very slow to make it, I don’t know why. There is a service, shuttle, to hotel from airport, but you need to book that first! Poor services. We chose it because it is close to airport, just it!

Ibis standart, just for a night between flights it was ok.
Real close to the Airport, and the good thing is that they provided a shuttle to the Airport for free.
Breakfast is extra , served at the restaurant, could be better.

Recently, I stayed at this hotel in Nov 18.

The room is standard ibis but very very clean, good AC and wifi, quiet cannot hear the cars nor the planes

However, the person who checked me in - Bruno Farias - was extremely rude and hostile. Head Manager, reading and replying to this review - Please send this gentleman for training and understanding how to deal with the clients. Especially clients arriving late in the night, after long/uncomfortable flights. He should learn to practice compassion and restraint.

The hotel is located neat the airport but there is no airport shuttle. One must spend 10/15 usd for the expensive pre-paid hotel cab to arrive at this hotel. This adds to the overall cost.

The front desk is under-staffed. The staff is responsible for cooking breakfast and manage the front desk at the same time. I found this ridiculous!

Overall, I recommend this hotel for the cheap price and convenient location and good bed.
