I stayed at this hotel during two days for a training in Situational Leadership by Ken Blanchard Co., so I can only evaluate the conference room, meeting hall and restaurant. To support a group of 30 people, they provided a room with a nice acoustics and equiped with a projector, nice chairs, flip charts and everything necessary for a successful business meeting. Their Restaurant serves nice food with diverse dishes, though I found it a bit small for international standards - I especially enjoyed their desserts: pies and pudins were terrific. Their coffee break is variated, but is on the average.

Room Tip: The rooms with view for the sea are better above the 4th floor.

ive read a couple of the excellent reviews that this hotel received and im wondering the comparison level of the fellow travelers .

just a heads up .
My room smells like someone urinated all over ( its not a big room anyway )
Shower only has Hot and Cold offered on an ON OFF switch , you can only handle the flow of water
Curtains must be from the 80’s im not sure when the blood stains got on tho .
Pillows and mattress are uncomfortable . to be fair some people might like them

for that fare the hotel is just unacceptable

Room Tip: rooms *04 has a great view of a wall a few meters away

Prezada Sra. Cristiane,

Bom dia!

This is a simple hotel, the room is basic and clean the breakfast area is small and crowded and by Brazilian standards it was modest. I went for work and for a 2 nights only - would never stay there on vacation mainly because its way overpriced for what it offers.

Very close to the airport and on one of Brazil's most famous beaches, Boa Viagem. Make no mistake Recife is one gritty, snarling city, and one of the country's biggest. Also one of i'ts most dangerous - saying that we witnessed nothing to suggest this. There is gridlocked traffic, construction on every corner, rubbish strewn everywhere (like in the rest of Brazil) and virtually no tourist facilties for English speakers to speak of (which since the World Cup is coming in less than 18 months may prove to be a bit of a problem).
The old city (Recife Antigo) during the day looked post apocalyptic, a poor mans Havana. However it is a city with a pulse and attitude which I liked. The hotel was more business end but the prom leading all the way up to the pier was a good 6km walk, dotted with bars and tapioca stands. There were no discernable restaurants though, the way you would see on Copabana or even in Maceio

The staff was very helpful, the general accommodations were satisfactory, the localization was close to a shopping mall and to a touristic fair, and above all, the breakfast was very tasteful and plenty of regional food. I strongly recommend it and I intend to return to it again.
