Avoid at all costs: rooms are old - and I do mean old, they still feature CRT tvs, old decor and an extremely run down and dirt bathroom. The bathtub had mold everywhere.
I've stayed in two rooms and they were both dismal. Hotel location is not that good either - it takes some 10 minutes on foot to get to Boa Viagem beach, and you have to cross a very smelly canal which is usually full with beggars.
The only positive highlights on this hotel are the breakfast (do try the tapioca) and the large swimming pool (which is a debatable plus since the city is surrounded by pristine beaches).
