This hotel is situated on the beach with a very nice view. The rooms are very nice, comfortable and clean. We really appreciated also the free drink vaucher on arrival; we got an excellent caipirinha (i am an expert). The breakfast buffet is very good and has quite a great choice. The breakfast lounge has a gorgeous view on the sea.
The only bad point of this hotel was the reception service to check out in the morning. There was a long queue of around 10-15 people waiting with 2 staff attending only. Everyone seemed to be in a hurry going to work or meetings including us. People started to complain and shout at the poor two women and calling the manager. But he never came!
So if you have to work or travel, plan some time ahead to check out. Otherwise very nice experience.

I liked very much and appreciated the attention the people in the lobby. They had all my data in their files and gave me an upgrade with sea view. Very important for business men. The room is large. I took into consideration they're revamping the whole hotel. The furniture and ceramic is old, but every hotel in Recife is like that. Overall experience very good. Breakfast plenty of options. I recommend.

Room Tip: The sea view is fantastic. Choose the final 05, which get's the sun in the morning if you want to wake up early. I got final 04, which gave me a little more time to sleep.

This hotel is very well located, but is an old fashioned building, with large, old rooms. They are well conserved mostly, but you realise that it needs refurbishment.
Overall, is a good hotel, not considering the 30' check out waiting. This is unaceptable.

We stayed here for 4 nights as overseas guests for a wedding. Recife is not a particularly nice city and I would avoid it if possible. The hotel is in an excellent location right on the beach. As you walk in the lobby is nice. The reception staff were polite and helpful. We had a room on the 15th floor and we had paid for a deluxe room. The first impression of the room was that it was large and clean. However I got a shock when I walked into the bathroom. It is badly in need of renovations. Other guests confirmed this was the case in their rooms. The other downside was that the air conditioning was not particularly effective. The breakfast and room service at this hotel was tasty. Overall, I don't think it was at a 4 star level and we didn't get value for money and I probably wouldn't stay there again.

This hotel is beachfront located, but an extremly polluted beach. The hotel is old, noisy and uncomfortable. Windows are 30years old or more,so, wind, traffic noise and loud music from beach and cars are disturbing you when trying to sleep. Don't take a room in any floor with number 13, it's really hazardous. There's an air conditioning column making noise all night long.
Internet is way too slow, it goes as fast as 11 Mbps, so if you have a convention at the hotel, with 200pax, forget about using the net.
Swimming pool is no bigger than your bath tub. In room air conditioning not always work and when they do, there's a mould smell. Bathrooms are old, not well taken care and looks dirty.
Breakfast finishes at 10am and at 10:02am they start taking everything. Extremly priced for a "5star" that it was supposed to be rated 3

Room Tip: Good luck...you will need it!
