Its a nice place to visit for some hours, is close to the ocean so it can be little windy but is nice a summerday when the sun is high.
Close to Marco Zero you have recife Antigo, the old city. Also a nice place to visit. Bouth places is nice also at night than many bars and shows open in the area

We walked pass and had to come back when my map said that this was the Marco Zero. The surroundings are interesting with old buildings in different stages of repair/disrepair. I would have being disappointed if I had made it a destination, but it was nice as part of our walk.

It's a nice enough place, by the coast as well so nice and open. But apart from having a look at it, there's not much else to do in the area. But it's not far from some more of the historic neighbourhoods so it's okay for a short detour.

Most of the buildings need repair. It seems that the place was abbandoned for a long time and just now some places are being repainted. It's nice for the history, but nothing special.
