If you go there expecting mainland china or oh calcutta ambience, you don't get it. If you expect very well done interiors then also you'd be disappointed but if you are just a fish buff like me and millions of others, then this is the place to go. Please make a reservation or else you would have to wait long. The seating capacity is limited.
The menu is pretty well planned and covers a lot of common as well as not so common fish dishes from almost every world cusinie.
My partner and I had Seafood Lemon corriander soup and Tom Yum soup,Prawn in pepper, Prawn Narsi Goreng fried rice,Fish in Garlic sauce and Black forest souffle as dessert and the bill came to Rs 1100....something which I cannot think of in any of the other posh eateries in town. And despite the rising prices, their dishes are average prized between 175 -250 rupees approx with some rare ones touching the 500-600 slab. The fish was fresh, well cooked and the prawn sizes were pretty good.
It was a disappointment not to find the combo meals which are there on the menu but they said are only for corporate lunches...not very clear what they meant but the combo selections are pretty good and if they start the same, they will give most restaurants in the city a tough competition.
