We reserved the restaurant at 12:30PM and we reached sharp at 12:35PM. When we walked in we were the only customers but within half an hour the restaurant became 50% occupied. As soon as we entered we were shown to a table according to our requirement. We were asked for choice of water and we opted for regular water. Then we were promptly presented with the beverage menu. Since we opted for buffet lunch we asked what was the beverage offered and we were suggested to go for mojito. We did opt for it. The drink was served within 7 minutes but only the stirrer was missing. The drink was good to taste but was a bit to the sweeter side. I have had mojito at several places so I felt it was a little bit sweeter than normal here but it was not very bad. While we started sipping our beverage, a case containing charcoal was placed in the middle of the table and then the kebabs started flowing in. We were offered both veg and non veg options but we opted for non veg kebabs. We had prawn, crab, chicken, fish and mutton kebabs. They repeatedly asked if we needed more kebabs and filled in after we finished. The behaviours of the staff was very good. They also asked about the quality of food. After kebabs we moved for main course and tried mutton roganjosh, murgh biryani, chicken salads and a few veg items as well. The plates were warm but there was nobody to inform us about it. I believe that someone should inform this in case the plates were more hot than necessary. Then we moved in for desserts and there were a few flaws we found : someone had used the custard spoon to serve firni and the spoon was still there in the firni pot. It was not replaced. Also the brownie was cut in irregular portion sizes and the chocolate sauce was a bit watery. It should have been a bit more viscous. In the meantime I visited the washroom. The washroom had no signage above its door so I had to ask the staff about it. After entering there were two problems that I noticed. A washroom cleaning schedule sheet was not displayed anywhere in the washroom and the wash basin was not tidy. The corners had black stains. Also the toilet paper bin used had some papers on the rim. I believe that the toilet paper bin should have a foot operated lid. Sight of bare toilet papers is a put off factor. Then we finished our dessert. We asked for the invoice. It was served withing 5 minutes with mouth fresheners and a feedback card. We were offered membership options as well. After paying we walked towards the exit door and the staff greeted us goodbye and asked us to visit again. Hence apart from a few hitches the whole experience was fine for us. Our comment would be that if the hitches mentioned in this narrative are taken care of then this would be a great restaurant of choice for diners.
