A superb little find. A small restaurant - and that's wonderful.
Not your run-of-the-mill Bengali fare - and great food.
Hats of the the chef and the staff there.

I loved Bohemian's menu. First I was a bit sceptic as the way the menu was written I am not very familiar with that. But I found their food very tasty. When someone is tired of regular menu of restaurants and want to try something new, they can visit Bohemian. It is a small restaurant with clean interior. A bit difficult to locate but with Uber I had no problem in locating the restaurant. Staff members were courteous, though I didn't like the poor coordination between kitchen and servers. One of the server recommended dessert and after some time he informed us that the item was not available. After that again he recommended another item and we agreed to go with that, but again he informed us that the kitchen can't serve it.

A place for Bengali cuisines with a twist, that's what Bohemian is. Of course everyone knows it. But the question is: how to rate it? The interior is well-decorated, yes, but that's not important. The service is pretty slow. The items are very tasty with excellent quality, yes, but the quantity? Honestly saying, the quantity is poor. Very poor. The staff is honest enough to warn you that 'one plate is manageable by one only'. And the price? Extremely high priced items. I don't understand why all the Bengali cuisine restaurants charge so much? Anyways, the price tags here will burn a big hole in your pocket and will leave you unsatisfied (because of the poor quantity). Yeah, on a starter ₹ 700-800 of your hard earned money will go away. On main course atleast ₹1300 is bound to be spent. On a drink (non alcoholic) expect to be charged at around ₹ 300. So is this place worth a visit? Yeah, sure, if you have excess money, and it's a very special day in your life and you want to visit a 'popular' place and instagram your sordid selfies, do visit this place for a tasty yet incomplete meals.

Good Fusion Bengali Food with average ambience, decor and irrationally expensive .... Although Food and coctails were good but heavily priced in comparison to the decor, ambience, classiness provided .....

Moving to Kolkata this place has repeatedly cropped up as a must dine. It was busy on a Sunday lunchtime which you always take to be a good sign. Staff were slick and pleasant and were apologetic that a couple of options we had selected were not available. The spinach starter was fine and tasty , the cocktails refreshing . But nothing can excuse the main courses of a watery bland mushroom curry , and without exception one of the most blandly disaapointing dishes I've ever eaten in India -Baby Cabbage & Green Pea Melange with Aam Adaa Sauce- , This was 7 Brussel sprouts in hot milk . Not good, not delicious and far from the fancy tile of the dish . The plates sprinkled with paprika and parsley could not jazz it up . This restaurant is also expensive for what it is and when it is priced as it is then ones expectation is higher . The atmosphere was just like any other cafe along the street . A very lacking experience indeed.
