We stayed here for three days in February, in a suite with three beds, western toilet and hot water. Although the management wasn't particularly friendly, we were very happy with the room. Two reasons for the poor rating: I had a watch stolen (admittedly a very cheap Casio that I kept by my bed each night). Secondly, when we left we booked the same room for our return from the Sundarbans. They assured us they would keep it, and we even offered to pay upfront for the room, or at least a deposit, which they declined. We rang the day before our return to confirm they were holding the room, and were told they were. However when we arrived the next evening, tired, dirty and worn out, they had given the room away. They wanted to stuff three of us in a tiny double room, and were not in the least apologetic about their appalling service. We left and went elsewhere.
