Had a wonderful experience staying at the hotel. Hotel staff are very courteous and willing to help. Stay was comfortable and this place is located very close to the mall rd. Food and Darjeeling tea served was very nice. Almost all the rooms have a view of the magnificent Kanchenjanga. There is also a deck on the 6th floor with a view. We went up at midnight to gaze at the stars and saw a few shooting stars as well. I would like to call out Manager Ali and restaurant manager Arindham for their help and hospitality. Thanks

First of all I must write that this hotel has lift facility. After prolonged search in internet I booked a package of the hotel. We four consisting of two elderly member availed the premium attic rooms in the top/ fifth floor(505 & 506). Both the rooms have attached balcony, where you can sit and enjoy the view of majestic Kanchanjunga right from sunrise to sunset. We were lucky to have clear sky during the whole period of our stay.
The total staff are very polite and friendly.
Breakfast and dinner had a wide range of choices. We are very thankful to the restaurant manager Mr Arindum Sen and his team for his help in providing preparations without onion and garlic and serving in the room for my elderly members.Mr Sen is definitely a great asset to this hotel. I must appriciate Kumar, the young chauffeur they provided. He is such a nice fellow.
The hotel is very well maintained.
The mall market place is very near and 7/8 minutes walking distance.
I strongly recommend this hotel if you are traveling with elderly people. But the lift is from first floor and above. From gate you have to climb upto reception and then upto first floor for lift. You will get down from your vehicle right at the gate.
The parking space is small, can accommodate three vehicles maximum.
Attached pictures are from balcony of room.

This place surely did not live upto the hype.situtated in the busy area next to Mall road with traffic congestion which u surely won't want to experience on a vacation.we stayed in deluxe exrcutive category room.the rooms r small with absolutely no view.we could see some old buildings from our room.probably the higher category rooms r better.the hotel has an old design probably preferred by tourists before but now surely has lost its charm.the food quality is decent.worth mentioning is the restaurant manager ( can't recollect his name) who would greet every guest who walks in to the restaurant and takes an effort to talk to them and give them every possible info about the place.thumps up to him.food quality is decent.the hotel is not worth the money.
Tip: kindly book a hotel slightly away from the main city.

We recently visited this hotel during our Diwali holidays.
Plus point..location. right on mall road with walking distance to many restaurants near by.
Negative..rooms need serious renovation..old and smelly..don't have fascilities like digital locker in room and we lost cash kept in our bag..around 13 k.when we complained for it manager told that their staff is very honest but there was another guest who lost 50 k and i phone..so keep your valuables at your risk or avoid this hotel.
