Its a typical hillstaion mall road with surrounded by shops and people roaming aorund. It offers places to eat , shop and enjoy. If one keep walking then there are few path which take u to a hill having a temple and park on hill from where u get a good glimpse of valley.

A highly crowded shopping place and a square to sit down a relax. Can enjoy pony ride, though highly recommended. Please determine the price and duration of the ride before engaging one..!!

Darjeeling is more like a place if you are looking for a leisure trip . It's adventurous as well if you are trekking. It's amazing to see how many people just sit around the Chowrasta . You can see the mountains in the front, take a sip of amazing Darjeeling tea at Golden Tips( they have a wide range). If you are looking for some nice curios or Tibetan stuff or jewellery, definitly visit Habeeb Mullik. They have some very authentic Tibetan stuff. And if you think it's pricy , it's actually not. Jolly Arts is also good for silvery jewellery and Tibetan stuff. You can buy some good quality tea from Nathmulls but they have a bigger store down in the market. The Oxford book store is also worth visiting if you love to read

Come early. Relax on the bench after your morning walk. Sip fresh tea. Enjoy!
You get to see early monring fitness freaks, some heritage buildings and a sleepy town waking up.
