The resort is a treat for visitors with best in class amenities and a stunning valley view. The rooms are nice and tidy with not too big - too small kind and all the basic facilities. The cleanliness and hygiene is maintained very well across the premises.
The hotel staff is very helpful and takes care of each and every need of yours. Food provided (Breakfast - lunch - dinner) is delicious. All in all a nice place to stay with your family with very helpful and nice staff around.
The only con is that it is a bit farther from the city center and you need to take cab to go to and to come back from the center,

The address of this hotel should actually be Gandhi Rd, Ghom and NOT Darjeeling. It is 15 Minutes drive by taxi over an potholed road, to far to walk. So every time you want to go to Darjeeling town e.g. for some food or to pick up some shopping the return drive costs 600 Rs.. It is actually scary at night because there are no neighbouring houses, the road has no lights at all and the "resort" has not the feeling of a proper hotel at all, there is not really a lobby or restaurant or reception. A very big minus is the lack of heaters - it was 0 degree Celsius at night in the room. The room was chilly and damp and the house doesn't seem to catch sunlight ever. So, stay here if you want (1) darkness, (2) no traffic noise but don't mind dogs barking (3) but want to have a good Kanchenjunga view in the morning.

Room Tip: Tip: Hill Cart Rd is very loud, pick a hotel above it geographically.

Visited in nov 13. Property away form town and top of hill. Good view of valley during day time if climate is good. Poor sunlight after 4.30 pm ( nov) and no lighting arrangement on the roads so cant go for a walk. No tv in room. Home stay type arrangment for resturant and no 24 hr reception / room service . Food adjustable. Have to ensure hot water availability and room heater before they go sleep :)

The resort is located at the most beautiful are in Darjeeling. Darjeeling main town is away so you can actually enjoy and even go back to those days when Darjeeling was not polluted with those concrete jungle.

We stayed here with my family and enjoy each and everyday as we were blessed by the view of mt. Kanchanjunga and the hospitality was of high quality. We were always greeted with a smile by the staff no matter what time it may be. This place needs to be promoted as it has many exotic plants and you are always close to the nature and far from the hustle and bustle. My kids also enjoyed them self as there was ample place for them to place and go around the resort.

Room Tip: Rooms facing toward the mountain is awesome.

Stayed here with friends -5 kids.we got great valley facing room on the first floor. The view in the morning was excellent. We stayed there for couple of days and were not willing to leave because it was so quite and different than daily city life. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Mr. Suraj from the kitchen helped us with 4am packed breakfast for the road when we left back for the airport. Kids had a wonderful time.

the resort is a very good one to stay. the only vital problem is the transportation. nearest market requires NLT 250 Rs. in a taxi. except that, the location and view from the rooms & balcony/ veranda is AWESOME. u can see the Mt. KanchanJongha easily from the resort, if there's no cloud of-course. the breakfast is good, the hot & sour chicken soup is also good. if u are newly married and require mental peace, u can definitely check this one out.

We have recently visited the hotel on 13 Oct to 15 Oct 13 along with my family. The hotel is located very far off from the city and commuting from the city and back will set u back by Rs 600 moreover the service of food is pathetic and the hotel staff do not co-operate in telling about how to go about the sight seeing of Darjeeling. So my best advise to people visiting Darjeeling is to stay in a hotel which is near to the city.
