Nothing great to chirp about. But if you want to have good vegetarian food within driving distance, valet parking, continental and south indian in once place, you should be here. The waiters are more happy chatting within themselves so please be prepared for long waits and ask for the name as soon as you see one at your table so you can call by name.... Average fare, not so spicy, good for a one visit....

Eden, especially the Adyar branch has to be one of the best and most consistent restaurants in Chennai.
For their exciting menu options, and the amazing taste on offer, I've been going there all my life, starting with dosas till I started loving the pastas, bakes. Corn florentine, Chef's baked bowl, Pasta bake, Spicy Crunchies, Bharwaan Paneer, Spaghetti with cheese balls. Best means, best!

A pure vegetarian restaurant, EDen at Harrisons has been a class of its own. Whether it is the quality and taste of the food or the variety of the food or the ever smile of the service personnels, it is way above its contemporaries.....

Some top picks from their menu items...

1. Bharwan Paneer (specifically request it to be soft and not crisp)
2. Corn on Toast
3. Sugarcane Juice
4. Morekuzhambu Idli
5. Milagu Sevai
6. Curry leaves rice
7. "Last time i saw my waist" - the icecream

Avoid typically a friday, saturday and sunday evenings - else reach the restaurant before 7pm on these days...it becomes so overcrowded that the waiting time goes even beyond 45min...but post dinner you would realize that the wait was worth every minute!!!! For a relaxed dinner (or lunch), any other week day should be ideal...

Have visited a couple of times for both lunch and dinner. Delicious food never greasy. Can get pretty packed in the weekend afternoons so be prepared to wait . Abundant choice for the vegetarian palate . Its hard getting bored with this variety of food. Service has been good overall.
Do try this place , you won't regret it!! My title/caption reflects my mood after I have eaten at Eden.
