I've been going to this place off and on since it opened about 8 years ago - it's not changed much in that time except it's become a lot dearer and the place really could do with a refresh now.
The food is in the richer style of cooking with plentiful use of coconut milk and spices. The quality is excellent and being in Tamil Nadu they don't tone the spicing down which is good news for this chilli lover.
Excellent starters - good spicy larb gai, chicken in pandanus leaves and some satay. I had an excellent minced chicken with chilli and basil for a main with some pad thai. The pad thai was probably the least sucessful bit - rather heavy and over sauced.
It's not cheap - prices are on the high side and in common with other places in Chennai you need a second mortgage if you want alcohol. That aside, this is a very good restaurant and very reliable.
