I returned to The Dakshin after two years and I must say that I was delighted that the quality of food was still very good. There was a group of musicians playing traditional South Indian music but not too loud so that we could carry on a conversation at table. The variety of South Indian food was great. The food was served on silver thalis. The coffee was excellent served or rather poured into a silver cup in the traditional way from a metre high.
