We normally order a full Tandoor Chicken. Most dishes are Punjabi/North Indian style. Dhaba Express is a great escape for our gang as it is difficult to find a true North Indian restaurant in Chennai. Prices are reasonable. The unlimited dinner thali & Sunday Brunch are popular in particular. Paan is great. We have ordered several times from Dhaba Express (We stayed close to Kotturpuram). Food is delivered within 45 minutes & is warm.

I started liking punjabi food very much than any other north indian foods after my 2yrs stay in delhi. After coming back to chennai i was looking for a good punjabi restaurant in chennai.. then i came to know about "Dhaba Express".... Most of the dishes are so tasty.... especially all paneer items.... and the price of the food also very reasonable... I will strongly recommend "Dhaba Express" for those who are looking for good punjabi restaurant in chennai.

The ambiance provided is good but the quality of food is not good or worth the price we pay.. ,

Paneer butter masala was loaded with salt.. Veg Makhanwala was spicy . The kulcha in rest of places is made wheat flour here it made from maida..like a rubber...

Its bit pricey for the place like this and Food is bad. It does not deserve the credit of being high class North indian restaurant. A hardcore Southindian restaurant can be make better north indian dishes than this restaurant. Light in the place is always dark to perhaps keep visitors in dark.

Overall its NOt WORTH for Money you PAY

the food is not good as expected. claiming authentic dhaba food, should give real punjabi food in a simple manner. the quantity one dish should be in a such manner, two persons can share. l
