We'll appointed rooms. Service with taste. Breakfast top rate with additions from more than 5 cultures. Rooms are well appointed. Take the top floor to see construction of the pool and the view. The location is a bit tricky to make connections with taxis to go the other way on the street. It is a major 5 point intersection. This is both a plus and a minus.

Room Tip: We were on the 3 rd floor. Very quiet . We were the front face of the hotel. It is a good choice...

This is a very nice hotel. The rooms are well appointed, large and clean. They are well maintained and have a safe box. The bathroom is very nice, clean and well appointed with hairdryer and an excellent enclosed shower, abundant hot water!
I found the front desk staff to be most helpful, very caring and accommodating. The included breakfast buffet was a nice mix of western and Indian food, all of which I found to very good. The coffee was excellent!! The ambience of the dinning room was very nice and I enjoyed sitting in the relaxed atmosphere, eating, reading and leisurely visiting. Staff was attentive without being overbearing.
I would be happy to stay here again.

I note below that there is a pool rating. I was not aware of a pool on the premises.

I liked hotel - it is clean, spacious rooms, good & convenient controls of lights & AC. It also has good restaurant and decent breakfast. They need to improve their service. I was disappointed when I just wanted to change and asked for any room for 5 minutes (having checked out in morning, kept luggage in hotel, wanted to change for taking flight), I was told to use rest room.

Room Tip: Have a look at room before checking in.

Room is Good, large and clean. Only thing is pillows are hard. Service is poor. To get reception or operator, you need to call few times. I requested for a wake up call also told them it should not be the way they pick up the call. The person who took the call ensured me that it will not be the way they respond their call at recpetion. But I did not get the wake up call. Fortunately I got up myself, else I would have missed my flight. Next thing I was to get a drop at airport. Receptionist told me to wait and somebody will inform me when the vehicle arrives. After sometime I had to go out and then I found actually the vehicle is waiting for me. The total staff seem to be untrained and bad.

Not So good option compared to equivalent priced hotels in Chennai. Front Office people were really poor in handling things. Break Fast was disappointing. U will have to travel 2-3 Kms ahead of this hotel to take U turn and u will not find any options to eat out near by or roam around. Only good thing is Room is big and clean.

Regarding taking U turn to our hotel, it is purely the state goverments metro construction going on which will be changed after the construction is completed

The Hablis is a good hotel in a convenient location for business visits. It is in a busy and noisy area but the sound proof glass does a very good job of keeping the noise out. The rooms a new and well equipped and quite spacious.

The one thing I was very disappointed about was the pillows. They were very thick and not very comfortable (specially since I have a neck problem). When I requested for a thinner/softer pillow I was told there was none available. This is normally a basic requirement in any four/five star hotel. I had to fold the bath towel and use it to sleep that night which was not the most comfortable.

I should also mentioned that the breakfast was excellent.

Before embarking on a long flight home we recently stayed at the hotel Hablis, which turned out to be an excellent choice. The bedroom was beautiful, clean and the beds the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The staff could not have been more helpful and the food in both resteraunts was exceptional. It was a pleasant surprise to find an Irish bar upstairs which had good menu and a fantastic live band playing the night we stayed. A perfect way to re acclimatize ourselves to the west before travelling home. Value for money, I can not recommend it enough.
