Good clean hotel, stayed for a day with family 2 room, good service. Date of stay october 12/13th 2011. Family friendly Hotel and good breakfast with a clean pool.

The best part of this hotel is its proximity to Marina beach and very near to chennai railway station. The hotel is really very big although a little old but has one of the best dining places if you are a foody. The roof top restaurant is something one should never miss.

Room Tip: Higher floors better view of the city.

The roof top restaurant is something one should never miss. Excellent north indian food with the kebabs as the best part. The rooms are spacious although service needs a little improvement

I stayed at Savera for 21 continuous days during an official work visit. I found the staff quite helpful and always smiling and cheerful. The reception is always busy though and sometimes takes quite long for check ins.
The hotel has a pool, Gym health facility, saloon and a discotheque. The Hotel offers wednesday nights as ladies night, where free drinks are allowed for single girls and if you go as a couple then cover charges apply. Single Men are not allowed on the Ladies night. The club offers nice music during fridays and saturdays.
Location of Savera is quite premium with all big companies and offices in the vicinity. Plus, Jayalalitha's house and Rajnikanth's house is also near by, so just in case u return early from work, u can go out to see the near by places.
A few restaurants are also nearby, which would help you find almost all types of cuisines in the vicinity.
Food is quite expensive.

Room Tip: pool side room gives nice views in the morning and evenings.

This hotel is a good place to stay in except
if you are a smoker you will be given a smoking room with windows sealed ,though what i was told was all the rooms have their windows sealed ( don't know for what reason).
The buffet breakfast was good worth Rs 800/- and the bar was bit lousy.

Excellent family and business traveller hotel in center of chennai. Good clean rooms, very pleasant help with good English speaking skills too. If I didn't live on WiFi while in the hotel, I would give it excellent reviews completely. But had major wifi issues every time I have stayed here...and even had to go to lobby at 4am to make a Skype conference call. But perfect place if you aren't obsessed with wifi alike me. Also, shop around on discount travel sites for better prices too..

This is very nice hotel which has is suitated in a very nice and happening area. The rooms and clean and staff is courteous. I would like to make a special mentio about the facilities in the hotel especially the Swimming pool and the gymnasium. The pool and gymnasium are excellent to say the least. However you must check and do the due deligence about the rooms. A must for people who are fitness freaks.
