Located in Chennai, this is the site (on the hill) where St. Thomas was killed. There is a small church that houses relics from St. Thomas, as well as many other saints. There is also a painting of Mary and Jesus, completed by St. Luke. There is a small 10 rps fee to park and 10 rps fee to take pictures. You park below and walk up about 100 hards to the top of the hill. There is also a small, gift shop counter. Primitive restrooms are also available.
This site is not to be confused with Little Mount (also in Chennai), which is the site of the cave where St. Thomas stayed while being persecuted, and there is also a water well (along with outdoor stations of the cross), a modern church, and several small chapels. The third site to see is St. Thomas Basilica, a large church also located in Chennai.
