ISKCON Chennai is a nice small temple, not comparable to other ISKCON temples around the world.

Temple is open from as early as 4.30 AM and is open till evening. But the Radha & Krishna idols in the central hall remain closed for most of the day and is opened only during Puja timing, which happens several times a day.

The food counter at ISKCON, sells good vegetarian food, but had received notice from tax authorities for evading sales tax on food sold here, in the name of spiritual activity

Followers of Krishna often trick you into doing some ritual like walking 108 steps with a bead in your hand.

On weekends temple gets extremely crowded and parking area is also felt inadequate.

Early morning is best place to visit ISKCON Chennai.

This is an excellent temple and you can see the really see the artistic designs with which the temple has been beautified and then you can yourself see the great structure here.

The temple infrastructure was so beautiful, The idols of Radhe & Krishna also looks so nice. Maintenance was good. Only disadvantage was the temple was located so interior, hence we need to take our own vehicle. No other transportation were available.

Very peaceful temple, breezy, very clean, a novel experience at Chennai. There are 3 sets of deities set inside beautifully crafted woodwork. The Krishna life stories all around the sanctum is very colorful and beautiful. All white marble structures look great. The Krishna songs, chanting and bajans can be heard at most times. The colorful lighting is a treat to the eyes. People who are in a hurry should confirm the darshan timing before going as the sanctums remain closed at spells other than "arathi" timings. This is quite a new temple, about 800 meters from the main East Coast Road. It may be difficult to walk to and for from the main road. The wheelchair, lift arrangements for the elderly are excellent.
