I went there on last Sunday in Auto from chennai city,to avoid parking glitches, and was greatly relived looking the scenario there. Its good place to pass your time and if you want to go for movies. Movie tickets there I found reasonable in comparision to Pune and Mumbai. Food over there was average but priced slightly on the higher side.

It is a cramped place, but you can visit to pvr cinema.be careful about car parking.not advisible to go by any car other than alto.visited 3 times in 2012 &2 times my car has been damaged while it has been parked.if you ask security guys, there is no proper response.you wont get anyfeedback even if you report to skywalk management.you can visit the place if you are not bothered about safety of your car.

For a city still lacking in large shopping malls, Ampa Skywalk is a good addition. But it is located in a terrible place on the banks of the Cooum river, possibly one of the dirtiest in the world, and at a busy junction in Aminjikarai without a proper sidewalk for pedestrians. For cars to enter the place, the ramp is very steep and the parking charges are exorbitant. Access is very difficult, compounded by construction work going on just outside for a flyover, that is taking forever. Crossing the road is near impossible and there are no policemen or security guards to help. Inside, the mall is passable, but it is full of young men loitering around doing no shopping, but ogling at the women.

A wonderful place to be in when you have lots of time in your hands and not knowing what to do. There's shopping places, eating places, gaming places, movieplex, and escalators going all through the floors. The multiplex theatres are good, but most times even after buying the tickets you are not allowed inside by the staff at the start of the movies. Eating joints are great - you can taste all varieties available at Chennai. Bathroom facilities could be a lot cleaner.

This mall is not spacious, extremely dirty, crowded, poor maintenance, and ridiculous parking fee. A few months ago, my mother and I went to check out this mall and we found there was no variety and difference from the ordinary street with a number of shops. We found dirt everywhere and people's spits on the corners. There is a super market in the mall which is good and has a variety of products and produce but again is dirty. The air condition doesn't work and I wonder the mall ever wants to use it. There is a food court with a nice restaurnts but the catch is that you will have to buy a card, recharge with money and then buy food which is horrendous especially for tourists or one timers who will possibly never ever come back. The mall stinks. It definitely stands out for the wrong reasons compared to the other malls in town.
