Excellent hotel for business visits to chennai. Rooms are clean and hygiene maintained is excellent. Only shortfall is room service is bit late and also food is extremely expensive. Facilities offered are good and overall the hotel is well maintained.

The house keeping person assigned to the seventh floor- Mr Krishna is an excellent example of a good team member .

He does his work with attention to details , is prompt and is always there to help with a smile.

I think the hotel should groom and nourish people like Krishna who go an extra mile to look after customers.

Thank you Krishna ...good luck ..god bless ...you make this hotel a nice place to stay

This hotel is close to the airport but rather far from malls. I stayed in this hotel for almost a month and I would really like to thank the staff, most especially Kalaivani (housekeeping staff) for making our stay comfortable.

The only downside of this stay would be the constant loud banging of doors any time of the day and night but aside from it, our stay was comfortable to say the least.

Room Tip: Avoid the adjoining rooms. It really gets annoying to have strangers knocking loudly on the other si...

It is a nice hotel but little on the expensive side. The rooms are pretty good and has a very nice shower which is very important to relax.Breakfast was very good.It is a nice spacious hotel room.
I have few complaints aswell which I think they should take care of immediately.
A/C was inneffective so I was sweating till mid night and after that it got ok.
The channels were highly inadequate they need to think of a DTH service.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your feedback regarding your visit to Lemon Tree Hotel, Chennai. We are happy to note that you enjoyed your stay with Lemon Tree Hotels. May I apologize for not meeting your expectations fully, during this visit.

We have noted your comments on air-conditioning and are reviewing the relevant processes. We will implement process fixes and training to ensure this is not repeated.

The range/choice of TV channels offered by us is based on our periodic review of customer preferences. Commercial rates for TV channels in hotel rooms are many times higher than those applied for residences/homes and in keeping with our value-for-money philosophy, we try to offer only those channels that are preferred by most of our guests. We apologize if any of your personal favorites are not available.

Please give us an opportunity to make amends. Do email me at sanjay.das@lemontreehotels.com and I will be happy to handle the arrangements personally.

All I've to say is this is an amazing hotel to stay at Chennai. I’ve stayed here several times. I’m so happy with this hotel’s level of service. Being into service industry I know how challenging is to please a customer, and they does it well. The staff are polite, attentive and smart. Go for it, I recommend.

Pros:
1. Good Facilities & Amminities for a hotel of it's size
2. Food : Taste - Good, Variety - Not much
2. Close to the Airport
3. Friendly and Helpful Staff
4. Good connectivity
5. Within short ( 5 - 10 Km) distance of Beaches(Besant Nagar Beach), A developed Subabrb - Adayar etc.

Cons/What could be improved:
1. Expensive - Not worth the cost - Was charged INR 6000 + for one night's stay -- Which was infact a much as a 4* hotel booking during the timeof my travel. Lemon Tree is a 3 * Hotel.

Nice rooms, not very large but clean. Friendly staff. Street traffic and air conditioning can both be loud. Internet service has been improved since my first stay, now 30 min. are complimentary per day.
The buffet is great and changes daily, even between breakfast and dinner. Vegetarians too will enjoy the rich choice of meals.
