It is a quite old and one of the long time back big hotel but still it is good. It is located in main area of Mylapore near Music Academy and having different restaurants for different kind of Tamilnadu food.
I tried almost all the restaurant - Vrindavan, Thanjavur, Modern etc and everything is good.

Been to this restaurant located within New Woodlands in Mylapore, Chennai. The ambience largely resembles Mathura / Vrindavan, with paintings of the Region dotting the wall.

Food is authentic North Indian, the staff well trained to converse in Hindi - one would get an impression of being in the Cow Belt!

Worth a repeat visit.

If you really like to relish on south indian dishes.. specially meals, this is the place to be... I did this for Lunch and dinner as I dont get the same in Mumbai...
If you got a small appetite, try not to order a thali, else you can make sure you have it till you can..

Ambience, food and service very decent. Quantity of food is very generous. Pricing compared to other restaurants is economical. Serves north, south,Chinese and continental dishes. Beautiful paintings of Lord Krishna and Balaram adorns the wall of the restaurant.
