I visited this restaurant twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner.
The menu is not very easy for people who are not used to Japanese cuisine but the waiters are very friendly and explain the dishes well.
Food was tasty and of good quality. Recommended

I had limited veg food. The sushi was very good. The clear soup also was nice. I request for Udon Noodles with veggies and gravy which was done.

Not likely you see a separate Japanese restaurant in every 5-star. Great food, cozy ambience, but a slightly small seating place.

I've been to all the other restaurants in this Hyatt and have generally liked them all. Thought I would try their new one, their Japanese restaurant Yakiniku and I was pretty disappointed.

The place looks nice on the inside, but the good things end right there. You would feel like you are really not welcome here. The service was so poor and inattentive at best. One guy took my food order and vanished before I could even order my drink, only never to show up again. And it was not so easy to get anybody's attention either. It may have been a busy evening for this tiny restaurant, but that could not be an excuse.

The table was not so clean and had a lot of stains and marks. And the chopsticks, which were of poor quality were placed right on this unappealing piece of furniture and they did not have chopsticks-rests either.

Food as such was nothing to write home about. Ordered their sushi which was pretty badly presented. Each one looked so different from the other and one had even disintegrated completely. Had their Vegetable Udon Noodles which had ginger written all over it. Every bite I took felt like biting into ginger. So obviously not so pleasant.

They charged INR 250 + taxes for a bottle of mineral water which I thought was ridiculously high. And on top of that, it was Bisleri and not even Himalayan.

On the whole it was a forgettable evening. A very poor effort from Hyatt.
