Dear Guest,
Thank you for your feedback regarding your visit to Lemon Tree Premier, Jaipur. May I apologize for not meeting some of your expectations during your stay.
The government levies several kinds of taxes, both at the central and state levels (differ from state to state), on hotel bills. These taxes are levied by the government directly and hotels cannot influence the amount or the process of collection. However, service charge is levied by us and shared with the hotel staff, who work towards ensuring guests have a refreshing and memorable stay at Lemon Tree. Customers who feel that on a particular visit they do not want to pay the service charge for any reason, can tell the Front Desk and they would go ahead and adjust the same. All of this is clearly stated in the confirmation mail a guest receives post booking his stay with us. We are sorry our Front Desk staff was not able to clearly explain the same to you. We have re-briefed our team to understand this better.
Our internet services have been outsourced to a nationally reputed service provider and we levy a minimal mark-up on their charges to recover our administrative costs. The reason we do not provide net access complimentary 24x7 in all our packages and travel agent special rates, is because we would then have to recover the cost equally from the room rate of all our guests rather than only actual users (currently ~60% of our guests) which we felt would be inherently unfair to those not using these services.
We have also noted your perceptive inputs on the swimming pool water and are relooking at our internal standards to understand your feedback better.
Please give us an opportunity to make amends. Should you accede to my request, please email me at gm.pjp@lemontreehotels.com and I will be happy to handle the arrangements personally.
Best regards,
Nishikant Asthana
