The naila bagh palace was one of the best places of our stay during India trip. We loved spending our quite time in the courtyard, the kids of course liked the puppet show and a pungi player entertained them as well. Recreational facilities are very nice. My kids loved the pool and I thought it was very beautiful as well. What?s more they had a snooker table (one of my favorite game)!
Our rooms (royal suite) were very spacious and clean. the washrooms were also spacious and well designed. I would definitely recommend this place to travelers..

This is a place to relax and de stress. Our room was very clean and spacious and the beds were very comfi.Aside from that the staff is very nice and always willing to help.
We had dinner at the property and it was delicious, served by the pool side on a candle lit dinner table. Although, if one wishes they serve indoor as well. We just really liked the outside. Complimentary Wifi is available and they also gave me a laptop to use it?.

The roads through Jaipure to get to Naila Bagh are crowded and dirty. There is no where to go outside of its gates, as far as walking trips. Our first impression of Naila Bagh Palace was that it looked shabby. We reached there at night, and we were turned off by the bad lighting (most Indian hotels have really great lighting) and the slightly stained furniture. Some members of the group remarked that it looked haunted. Our rooms were a little run-down, and getting in them was a chore. The rooms are locked with giant, old locks attached to bells. The latches have been painted over and are difficult to shut. Therefore, each and every time you leave the room, you have to struggle with an old and difficult lock and a dirty, uncooperative latch. I had to sanitize my hands each time. The bedding is nice and fresh, but the bathrooms were a little sketchy. My husband found a clump of hair in the shower, but he (wisely) kept that to himself until we left. The hotel does have a beautiful pool.

I have stayed here twice. The place is great. The owners are a delight. They will do anything for you. Each room is different, but roomy and comfortable. The price is right.

We stayed here with 2 other couples. Our least favourite hotel of the trip, very basic generally, expensive food in the restaurant, average service, poor plumbing, basic breakfast and not that friendly either.

The website makes it look nicer than it really is. We stayed in other heritage properties on our trip which were alot nicer. To be fair they cost more but it is worth paying more.

This hotel was formerly the palace home of the ex prime minister of Jaipur and provides the 'faded palace experience' at a manageable price. However, be prepared for quirky rooms and restaurant and insufferable management. We had two rooms on opposite sides of the main building. To access each room, you had to go outside the main entrance of the hotel, around the corner, up two narrow flights of stairs and through a 5'7" door (ouch!) into a warren of connected small dark rooms. Although hotel is set back from the street in a park-like setting, be warned the there are nearby mosques with *very* loud speakers broadcasting a call to prayer at 4:30am. You *will* wake up. Dinner was served outside in a nice courtyard with swimming pool. Menu was very limited and service veeeeerrry slow. Bar had gin but not tonic, and only one brand of beer - Tuborg(!). My biggest gripe with the hotel was the attitude of the manager. One example: We invited our driver to join us for dinner and the manager physically barred our driver (who was smartly dressed and impeccably mannered) from coming into the hotel. "It is against hotel policy". I had never seen such a display of arrogance. For this reason I will NOT stay here again and I recommend the same to you.

An old hunting lodge, this place has lots and lots of charm and personality. The staff is lovely: attentive and friendly. There is live music (pungi player) in the evenings by the pool and breakfast in the dining room was delicious. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spotless. I highly recommend this hotel - particularly because it is so quiet. After a long and hectic day in Jaipur, it is an oasis.
