My wife and I stayed here a couple of times and were treated royally by Vikram and Gayatri, who oozes class. True Rajhastani hospitality! The food was superb and they would cook anything we asked for. Maybe not be in the same class as the Rambagh Palace hotel, which Vikram managed, but not pretentious.

Excellent place in the heart of the city. Managed by Kr Kunal Singh n a helping hand of his father Ex Director of Taj Group of hotels.
Things are well managed n food is excellent. Guest have been taken care of in royalty. Rooms are well designed n pool adds the extra fun. Sports bar is always crowded n kebabs n bar be que there is finger licking good. People travelling to jaipur will find a beautiful stay here.

Room Tip: You won't find a bad room. The owners will make you comfortable on arrival.

March 11 to March 14, 2013 in Deluxe AC Single Room. Anybody longing for the charm of colonial times will love staying at this hotel. My room was very big looking out into a courtyard. There was a small restaurant for breakfast and dinner and they had a basement bar for the drinks. The WLAN worked well near the reception. The people were very friendly, but the lack of discretion with which they hunted for tips was mildly annoying.

Stayed here as part of a Rajastan tour and enjoyed the three nights here immensely. All the staff are courteous and friendly and as this is the family's ancestral home, you get personal service from the owners.
The meals are delicious and varied , breakfast is more than adequate.
The building has real atmosphere and is in a quiet street in a busy neighbourhood.
It is not centrally located though and you need a taxi to get to most attractions. There was an empty pool, which wasn't an issue as it was not summer, though I would hope it is filled over the summer.
The building surrounds a grassy courtyard and in the evening we were treated to a puppet and magic show on the lawn by some street artists - quiet a quirky treat. As with most hotels we stayed in I liked the idea of pad bolts and padlocks for the doors, but sometimes the doors dont close all the way!.
The rooms are OK, a bit old and really designed for summer, with marble floors. Cold in December ! But always had hot water in huge bathrooms and you can ask for extra blankets.
ATM's are around the corner on the main road and a modern Reliance Department Store (like GAP) on the same road, but nor many eating out options close by.
A gracious and pleasant stay overall.

Room Tip: Rooms surround a courtyard, most are sunny, ones at the back and higher up would be quieter. There are three floors and no lift, but someone will take your bags.
