“Beautiful View of Nahargarh hills from Roof – top”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

We were a group of 7 persons. We booked this hotel through some online website and we were happy to stay there. We booked one Four bedded room and One Triple room. The room were comfortable, clean and Value for money. The breakfast was hot and quick. The hotel also offers Rajasthani Food. I tried this food for the first time and I liked Rajasthani Food. The Hotel has nice roof top where one can enjoy lazy afternoons with snacks watching the beautiful view of Nahargarh Hills , sitting in one of the baradaris ( Jharokas ) on the roof top. This was my favourite part in the hotel. The staff was polite and attentive. Over all Keep going like this . We will come back

I stayed at this hotel with my friend for 2 days in february. Stay was comfortable and the experience was good. Hotel staff helped us whenever needed with anything and anytime. Food was ok. I would not say good because other places we found really great food. Breakfast there is complimentary but not as good as the food is.

Location is good near the hotel. There is a market right next to the hotel where you can find almost everything. This hotel has few weird rules for staying there. Its just common rules but weird because they keep it written everywhere in the rooms which made us feel uncomfortable. Rest all is good. I would stay here again if i visit Jaipur.

Room Tip: Choose a room on the second or first floor. Rooms are better and bigger according to me.

We booked this hotel at the last minute but what a wonderful find it turned out to be!!!It was almost like being from home to home. The rooms were very clean and tastefully designed .The hotel was centrally located and well connected .. It is easy to get a auto rickshaw/ taxi to see the sight seen places or to go for shopping. Service was remarkable and up to the mark. Speedy wi-fi available for free of cost and Efficient Travel Desk which helped us in planning our entire trip so well.In all “Everyone should have the opportunity to visit such a charming place at least once

I visited Jaipur to attend one of the conference and Choose this hotel for my stay since the location of the hotel is very good. The hotel came out to be a surprise. It is more than the business hotel because of the pain taken by the Owner herself in managing the day today operations. The staff is well behaved, polite. The food is tasty and economical. The wi – fi connection is good and complimentary . I also hired a taxi from them and the driver was very informative. I will recommend this hotel if you are looking at economical hotel with good service.

Room Tip: All rooms are value for money

People running this hotel lack etiquette expected in hospitality sector. Some fellow follows you over the phone until you have landed in the hotel and paid the full money, there after they all become indifferent, leave apart a smile they do not even look at you. They will make you pay entire amount at the time of checking-in, thus you don't have option to think of other hotel even if you are not happy with the facilities, if you argue on this point, people on reception become rude. You are charged for an AC room, but ACs do not function in winter instead they expect you to take room-heaters on additional charges. Complementary breakfast is big farce. All eatables are highly over priced, think of a small cup of tea for Rs.60. You wont be spared even at the time of departing, they charge you Rs.400 to drop you at the bus-stand which is less than 2km from the hotel. Before I close, they don't even provide you drinking water in the rooms.
So BEWARE....

Staying in Sarang Palace was the worst experience for me. I use to travel all around India but the service that i got here was the worst. Very worst response at the reception counter. If you go with your query they don't even bother to response you. They are busy with their personal work. There are young guys whom they call that they are managers, who don't even have knowledge to manage or give the response to customers. This hotel is run by three ladies who have lots of attitude in them.

The hotel rooms given on the site are not true. I had booked after visiting the site and find the hotel rooms good. But they provided me with the separate room. there are is not facility of internet which they say that they have. They directly say NO we cannot give the facility to customers.

Food is not good. The cost charge for food and rooms are not worthful. They provide only bread butter for veg and boiled egg/bread butter for non veg. The tea they provide is also machine made. I stayed their for two days. Same breakfast for both the days. I have seen that almost all the customers were saying that the money they charge is not wortful.

Room Tip: You will find many good and cheap hotel in Jaipur apart from this one.

I visited Jaipur towards the end of January and booked a super deluxe room in this hotel my 1st impression was that the room was too small as against what was shown on the website. The blankets provided by the hotel were too heavy and were not effective against the cold in the night. The rooms are priced moderately when booked online however the food and drinks at the hotel are charged at a very high rate rs 60 for a cup of tea/coffee ???The only thing great about the entire experience was the hot water provided early in the morning.Honestly, There are better hotels available in the same price range.
