Very impressed by the architecture of the hotel, great place to stay .
Clean rooms, great pricing, wonderful staff and awesome roof top restaurant .
Everyone will enjoy their stay, price a bit high but it's more definitely worth more.
Good job ..

This hotel was one of my most enjoyable experiences of India. I had read all the descriptions before booking - but experiencing it first hand exceeded my expectations.
Firstly it is a beautiful place. The artwork and artefacts are amazing ,as is the general decor ,giving it a wonderful ambience. It is the cleanest place I have ever stayed in . The rooftop restaurant is atmospheric at night and the view of the city wonderful.
I really enjoyed the fact that it is not part of a chain. The staff had endearing idiosyncsasies , making it fun and pleasing. They were really helpful and easy to talk to. I felt relaxed from the word go and not concerned or worried about keeping up appearances!
The food was lovely and service excellent in all areas.
When we returned form the City Palace in Jaipur, we had been seen many beautiful doorways there . But my favourite still remains the golden doorway to the Umaid Mahal - gleaming like the entrance to the Maharaji's Palace!

Room Tip: There is wonderment in every room. They are not formulaic.

Everything at this hotel went above and beyond our expectations. Starting with a wonderful check in with professional and wonderfully helpful staff we proceded to a fabulous room complete with canopy bed and great balcony. Staff were perhaps the best we have ever seen in a hotel - kind, knowledgeable and providing fast service, and thats saying a lot. Food was very nice with rooftop restaurant to add to the charm. Wifi was very fast and best of all free. It was an enjoyment to just wander the hotel and admire the decor and art. It definitely felt like a 5 star hotel - all except the price.

When you first pull up to the hotel you'll be amazed by how beautiful it is outside, inside the hotel is just as pleasing to the eye. They really have paid attention to detail. The staff are lovely and the hotel is so clean and inviting. The breakfast is really tasty! I would not miss that out. The beds are super comfy and it really feels like a home from home. Its close to shops and located in a nice quiet area.

Room Tip: Book anywhere but the first floor....too much noise from the breakfast staff.

The best choice in Jaipu, near from us and train stations. Excellent service. Good options for dinner and aldo the rooftop to drink a beer during sunset. Once you are in the hotel you feel you are in jaipur, excellent deco! Everything was clean, really good bed And the best shower in India!

Stayed here for 2 nights in March, really impressively decorated hotel like a palace, rooms are basic but good for the money, roof top restaurant with a good menu. Pool looked small and enclosed on the basement level. It is in a built up area which was noises at night. Overall I would recommend this hotel, clean and friendly.

This budget hotel is wonderful. Everything about it is very good except for the swimming pool which is small, tightly enclosed by walls, and a bit murky. The location is somewhat removed from town center and MI Road. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood without any restaurants close by. The decor is fantastic...the hallways...the ceiling and wall paintings, the furniture and statuary...the marble floors...all wonderful. It is apparent that no expense was spared in creating an atmosphere of fabulous old India. There is a bar and dining room in the basement and a terrific rooftop restaurant. After traveling for a month in India, this hotel was definitely a treat and incredibly budget priced. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless and the water was always HOT. The beds were fine and the linens and towels were a bit dull and worn in spots, but clean and very acceptable. Breakfast was good and the coffee almost tasted like coffee as opposed to the usual tea-coffee. I highly recommend this hotel along with its sister hotel, the Umaid Bhawan, just a few blocks away. When we return to Jaipur in a few weeks we will stay here again.

Room Tip: Most rooms would be OK and most have small balconies. Those toward the back would be quieter though t...
