After staying in Delhi, this fantastic wee hotel was perfect. Just 5 minute's walk from the train station (don't believe the taxis when they say it's 2.5km!) nd fairly easy to find. We managed to check in later, and they were still happy to serve us lovely meals at 10pm. Bathrooms are the highlight, with good pressure hot showers! Lovely clean toilets, and a fantastic rooftop dining facility. We found this through lonely planet, and would recommend these guides to anyone travelling in India, and highly recommend the atithi guest house.

We had planned on going through Jaipur in just one night, but opted to spend 2 nights in Jaipur to see more of the sights, and this hotel was one of the nicest we stayed out throughout our 3 week long trip. good breakfast, which was served quickly, as opposed to manyu hotels that left us waiting for a long time. definitely worth the stay if you visit Jaipur

At first the price seems a bit overrated if you compare with Southern India, but after booking you`ll find out that it`s worth the money: a spotless room, a relaxing rooftop, friendly and helpfull staff and normal rated and nice food. You feel a bit like home far away from home!

Room Tip: If you have the option, take a room away from the streetside.

A truely great value place to stay in a good location.
This place is a small but high quality hotel. They offer good standard bedrooms all the mod cons, TV, A/C, balcony, washing, room service, internet, roof terrace.
If you can book your stay here. For what you pay you will be impressed.
For a great resturant walk left out the hotel and take another left on IM road then walk for 2 mins to Saffron. Order the dinner menu for 160rupees and you will be amazed.

Room Tip: With all Indian hotels, high and at the back away from roads are best. Morning prayer is all part of the experience. If you don't like it leave or take ear plugs!

We haven't been in India for long, but from all those places we stayed, this was definitely the cleanest, and - for our terms - most luxurious one. But the price was nearly the same as in more scruffy places in Delhi or Agra. There's a nice rooftop terrace, where you can meet lots of other travellers and chill out. Looks like they're making it even better by building a bar up there. A few more colours would make it perfect :) Food is ok, but could be a little better. But they offer amazing service, everyone is always friendly and smiling, and really attentive. Whenever we needed something, they took care of it immediately (without asking for tips like in many other places). Even when I had to wake them up in the middle of the night to ask for a bottle of water, they still smiled :) Oh yes, location is also good, about 20 mins walk to the old town, and train station and bus stand just around the corner... The only little downturn is that wifi isn't free (but less than 1pound/ day)...
