This was the best place we stayed in on our 2 week India holiday. We got a very spacious room with a very modern and clean bathroom. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would stay here every time I was in Jaipur.

There is a roof top restaurant which is very popular and we ate there twice, first night service and food was great, but second night service was poor and they only had warm beer.

Hotel Pearl Palace is a great place to stay in Jaipur, therefore you really need to book in advance!!! Unfortunately, I did it quite late and could only get a small room with shared bath room. My room was very small, but one of the cheapest and everything was cleaned perfectly. Additional, I had clean blankets and towels (not common in Indian hotels). But it was not necessary to stay in my room. The hotel has a spacious common room with super cosy sofas and and internet access. On the roof top there is restaurant with amazing food! You can order breakfast, lunch and dinner- it was so delicious that we always ate there :)
The staff at the reception is very friendly, even after my 1000th question they kept on smiling and helping me! The hotel offers free pick up service, I was very satisfied. (They don't have any contracts with the rickshaw drivers, but be careful, because the driver apperently offer you good prices for other trips...)

Without any form of exaggeration, this was quite simply the best place I stayed in Rajasthan and surrounds. Its reputation is well deserved and early booking is advised. I managed-just- to get a room with 4 days notice, whereas everywhere else I stayed in India was half empty.

Everything...works. My first genuinely warm shower in India. The rooms are spotless, the towels white, the beds comfortable and inviting. The common room upstairs is lovely.

The staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the rooftop restaurant is well above the standards of most, with imaginative dishes and some great breakfast options.

Pearl Palace was not by any means expensive either, firmly in the budget price bracket but with quality well above its billing. And, to top it off, it's not far at all from the station.

Above all, I met a really cool girl from NZ here. Hi Kate! :)

Room Tip: I suspect I got the "last" room on the ground floor beside reception. This was lovely, so...

Very clean and friendly staff. The food on roof top restaurant, Peacock was simply superb. Only hotel owner in my 11 day trip to Rajasthan , Mr Singh came and had a chat with me. The rooms were very traditional and very clean. My wife felt home away from home.

The rooms are clean and have everything you need, the staff are helpful and friendly, the shop on the rooftop is excellent for silver but most of all, the restaurant on the rooftop is brilliant! Great food and a fantastic location! If you are travelling alone, it is a very safe option. Would stay there again!

Pearl Palace is an excellent choice in Jaipur. The restaurant in the roof is fantastic (best veg thali we have had in India) and the prices are great. Good atmosphere and lots of other travellers around. We didn't feel the need to go into he town in he evening (nothing going in there anyway) as the roof terrace was so great.

It's a bit of a walk up to the main part if town and the traffic en route is completely mental but there are plenty of rickshaws to barter with outside the hotel and you can get them down to 50 rupees (60p) for a drop off in town.

The bedrooms are well equipped and above all squeaky clean, which isn't easy to come by in India. There is also a hotel round the corner which will let you use their pool for a small fee.

Mr Singh, the hotel owner has kindly put together a booklet on Jaipur which came in really handy and detailed a good walking tour. Nice touch!

Overall I would absolutely recommend this hotel.
