“A little bit whacky, a good choice for Jaipur”
Reviewed October 17, 2012 via mobile

We stayed 3 nights; loved the decor and cleanliness; loved the restaurant with views and cool breeze; loved the service - especially when we lost our phone and the staff shook out all the linen to find it. It's a great choice for cheap accommodation in this chaotic city.

A very nice place to stay in Jaipur. Confortable and clean rooms. Friendly staff and a very nice rooftop with good food and young travellers to share experiences.
Even arriving very late (12:30 am) they organised the free pick-up service for us from the railway station.
They even checked for an incoming car from Pushkar so we could have a nice price to travel!

We only had one day/night here but it was excellent; arrived early morning from the train and they held our luggage and there was a place to shower and change. We had a an awesome breakfast in the rooftop restaurant. Very stylish but laid back with great staff. The front desk was most helpful and they give you a brochure called "Jaipur for Aliens" that has more information than you would think to ask for! The room was modern and clean and the water was hot. Good A/C comfy beds.

Highly recommend.

Arriving at the hotel after a tiring journey from Delhi, we were beaming that this looked like a wonderful place. We were shown to our room soon enough and I can say we truly relaxed in a very clean room with fresh clean sheets. The staff was attentive and helpful when we asked for information at the reception. Whenever we got back to the hotel, the man at the reception made us feel very welcome. We met Mr. Singh in the evening although for a short time but he came across as a man truly in love with his profession.
A lovely place with great ambience, we will surely recommend to anyone going to Jaipur

We had a double room which was really nice and very reasonable. The management were friendly we and even got a little book on the customs of India which was a really nice added touch. We loved the little restaurant on the roof too, great views of the surrounding areas.

The Pearl Palace is well known for it's beautiful and eclectic decorations, and it's excellent rooftop restaurant. You can spend days just hanging out there, taking photos of all the interesting works of art hidden all over the hotel, if there wasn't so much else to do in Jaipur. The deluxe room we had was quite beautiful and the service is very good. We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else if we come to Jaipur again. But for us on this trip, the best thing about the Pearl Palace was "Don" the autorickshaw driver, who picked us up each morning and took us interesting places we would not otherwise have seen. Don is a lovely and generous man - "I give you good service, then you be happy. If you happy, then I am happy." - and we would reccommend that you ask for Don if you need a good driver.

Room Tip: The delux room that we had was just beautiful!

Really great hotel full of travellers. I didn't enjoy Jaipur as a place that much so this hotel made my stay a lot more bareable! The service at the restaurant unfortunately lets the place down slightly- very slow! Manager very friendly. Good value, would recommend.
