6 of us, including 2 small children, stayed at the motel for 4 nights (1/1/14 - 5/1/14). Two rooms. Both were exceptionally clean clean and tidy. Very spacious and the deco imperial period style just made it for us. Great service, very friendly, professional and efficient. The meals from the restaurant were just superb. We wanted to get the true taste of India and we got what we came for. I highly recommend this establishment. Would stay there again. Martin from Australia.

What a wonderful find this turned out to be. Thank you TripAdvisor community, otherwise I would have missed this one which was one of the highlights of the holiday. As you walk in your senses are overwhelmed with vibrant colour and it's one of those places where as you move through you keep going,"Oh wow - look at this." The staff are very efficient, welcoming and friendly and although it is obviously not the sort of decor you might be used to in a hotel, it's gorgeous and glamorous and glitzy in that particular Indian way. We had a Royal suite which was HUGE with 2 balconies, right at the top of the hotel so you could see for miles. The bed was massive and comfy and the bathroom had plentiful hot water. The restaurant was all decked out for Christmas and New Year, giving it extra sparkle, which only enhanced the evening's music and colourful dancing.
The food was really delicious both in the evening and at brekkie and I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting Jaipur.

Room Tip: We had a Royal Suite right at the top so you had a great view of the lower floors and outside.

We stayed at the Umaid Heritage Hotel for 2 nights, but would have liked to stay longer. It wasn't far from the pink city gate, so it was well located. After a hard day of site seeing it was a wonderful place to chill out. This has been the most lavish hotel on our India trip so far. We had Rm 101 on the ground floor. As I had a bad knee( fell down the steps at a previous hotel & another story) it was good not to climb the stairs to the restaurant. We later found they did have a lift. Our room was huge, with a huge comfortable warm bed, air con & extra blankets. The bathroom had a good supply of hot water and very clean. The room was beautifully decorated, as was the whole of the hotel, with painted walls & ceilings. Our room had an alcove with windows overlooking the pool. The first day I had room service, which was excellent. They have 2 restaurants upstairs. One, that is partly open to the terrace, with live music in the evening & the breakfast restaurant. The food was very tasty and they had a wide variety, with Indian & western dishes. The breakfast was also wonderful with whatever you wanted. The service was excellent & I would definitely come back here when next in Jaipur & highly recommend it.

The ambhience outside the hotel, inside the hotel as well as inside the room was fantastic. The room was in a class of it's own. Superbly done and the staff of Umaid Bhawan, made us feel like at home.

Room Tip: The Suite at the entrance was very quiet,

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at this hotel in December. The hotel is beautiful and has nicely furnished rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The evening entertainment of Rajasthani folk dance was a treat. I would highly recommend this hotel to all our friends and relatives.

On our 4 week-trip through 6 Indian cities this hotel was the best. Its interesting Rajastan architecture with superfriendly staff, good kitchen, lovely swimming pool and a pleasant restaurant on the rooftop it offers the oasis ambiance a tired traveller really needs after one or more days in the busy city of Jaipur with all its very worthwhile attractions.

Room Tip: Just click on the hotel website - it really is the way it looks on the pictures!
