The hotel is clean and very modern. It is situated in an upmarket part of town. All facilities were available. Staff professional and attentive. Rooms very good quality. Good base to visit the Amber Fort. Excellent hotel.

This is a good hotel for sure - and is ideally located. Perhaps in the 80s, it could have been termed as one of the better 5 stars. Clearly, the improvements since then have been minimal and the hotel deserves more of a 3 star or 4 star rating than a 5 star rating. The most redeeming factor about the hotel is its great location. Decent bar, courteous staff are other factors of this place. If you don't go there expecting the same kind of service that you would expect in India from a Taj or a Hyatt, you will not be disappointed.

though the hotel is well located and looks big, the service is pathetic. The staff was just not bothered. It took them 5 calls and a personal bashing to escort the luggage from lobby to room. Had to be reminded multiple times to refill water in the room. Perhaps they are only interested in serving the foreigners (for heavy tipping ofcourse). Food was equally bad. Limited options for breakfast, cold and tasteless. The toast basket was empty for most of the time, and the toasts were cold when they did come in. The indian stuff (chhole, poori, bhaji) was sad. The bellboy was very irritating and so were the reception personnel (young inexperienced girls who looked more like trainees). Only two Lifts (elevators) which took an eternity to come to the desired floor. And ya, no Wi-Fi in the room. How disgusting is that ! Totally wasted my 5 days during the stay. It is a string suggestion for all fellow tourists- STAY AWAY FROM CLARKS AAMER JAIPUR.

Hotel Clarks Amer was a pleasant hotel in Jaipur. The staff was friendly and always greeted our group politely. The rooms were decent - the beds were very comfortable and there was a safe in each room for valuables. The breakfast buffet was only okay - the pastries were stale and coffee bitter. I relied on the cereal and hard boiled eggs each morning.

The gym contained an impressive amount of equipment - there were over 6 pieces of cardio equipment and an entire weightlifting room. My only complaint is that the gym is located behind the pool and guests must walk outside in the dark if they work out in the morning. Also, the front desk did not know what time the gym opened in the morning or closed at night. The business center hours were limited and difficult to use as there was never an employee present in the office to assist guests.

The rooftop bar was a welcomed benefit of this hotel. There were great views and heat lamps so that we could enjoy drinks outside. My biggest complaint with this hotel was probably location - it was located far away from the main Jaipur markets and tourist sights.

a special recomendation for the staff as they look after you like a maharaja

i love the roof top tablu bar there and dhols maru restaurant. if you go to the hotel order laal mas for dinner

the hotel is 15 min away from all major tourist attractions and city center. the best part is the value for money-this 5 star hotel is resonable for value for money comparing to other hotels
