Location: this is a 33 minute walk from the airport (wouldn't recommend it to non-Indians) -- there are no footpaths, but you can walk along the inner roads (take a google map printout).
The hotel is about 9 km from the Pink city, and not reachable by foot -- I wouldn't recommend a rickshaw from here, but you can hire a car.
Decor and amenities: absolutely first class room and dining. You need to ask for a softer mattress though as this is semi-hard.
Gym: there is a gym which is reasonably good and the swimming pool, sauna and steam room are good.
Food: I only ate once at the buffet breakfast marketplace which was value for money.
I hired a car and a tourist guide from the travel desk and was very pleased with the experience.
Overall, I recommend this hotel if you want something close to the airport.
If you want a more "authentic" but pricier option, then there are hotels within Jaipur old town which may be better
