“Must See!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 1, 2013

My family really enjoyed our visit to the City Palace. This is not a government operated facility, but one run by a private family - who have owned the palace for generations; they still live in part of the palace that is not open to the public. We really enjoyed our tour and the Rajastani history we learned from our guide. In addition, they have a great section at the end where you can meet various types of artist who will demonstrate their craft for you. We really enjoyed this and would recommend it to anyone visiting Jaipur.

“Gorgeous”

Must see in Jaipur. Don't skip the gift shop. It has unique scarves with the block prints reserved for the Royal Family of Jaipur. There isn't as much of the palace open to the public as in Udaipur but it's still worth it.

All historical things are kept here like the clothes of the King &Queen, weapons used at that time. You will get to see things for more than 100 years old.

“The glory of Jaipur & Rajasthan !!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2013

City Palace is a must visit for every traveler, interested in the glorious past & present of Royal Rajasthan. The city palace gives a glimpse of the lavish & luxurious lifestyle of past Rajput Kings. The display of carriages, large silver pots, Paintings, Traditional Dresses & weapons of the past Kings were Amazing !!
