This pristine white temple is very beautifully inside and out, has a lot of nice stained glass inside which is unusual in Hindu temples, which made it very unique.

The Birla Mandir is huge and the name itself tells you that its a place that generates an aura of affulence. Nice place for devotees if you are interested in modern architecture temples made of marble.

there seem to be Birla temples everywhere. We were told that the Birla family have been told that if they cease building temples their business empire will crumble. I don't know if this is a true story but they have built a lot of temples.
It is a beautiful snow white marble edifice with nice carving and stained glass. Shoe keeping was very well organised.
The only bad thing is the car/bus park. How anyone got in or out was a miracle as it just looked like gridlock.

Birla Mandir established in the late 80s by the Birla clan - the illustrious industrialist family of India, is located in Tilak Nagar area, in the foot sills of Moti Doongri Hills. It is a landmark on the Jaipur landscape. The presiding deity of the temple are God Vishnu and Goddess Laxmi. Made from best quality of white marble, it stands tall. It is surrounded by the lush green lawns and has huge central hall for gathering of devotees. Once inside the main building the feeling is heavenly and bliss surrounds the mind and the body. The outside walls have engraved pictures of great saints and the stained glass window depicts scene from the Indian mythology and epics. When in Jaipur must visit the place.

It is in the heart of the city and next to the famous ganesha temple. The temple is so cleanly maintained and the God and Goddess are so beautiful. The basic facilities like drinking water and shoe keeping are well maintained.
