“I expected more”
Reviewed September 21, 2013

The best of it is the view from outside. And that's nearly impossible without any cars and buses...
Inside I was a little bit disappointed, not much to see. There are more interesting places in Jaipur.

“Face of jaipur”
Reviewed September 21, 2013

Hearing of Jaipur all will think of Hawa mahal only. It is a single room thick 5 storyed building with windows for the maharanis to see the common public. The construction is such that the rooms at the bottom floors are perpendicular to the road while the top 2 are having a slight inclination so that those who are at the bottom cannot see the queen.

“MAHAL”
Reviewed September 20, 2013

It is well maintained and I took a picture of this ancient building. Everyone should have a visit to this Mahal during the visit to Jaipur, the Pink city of India.

“For the ladies”
Reviewed September 17, 2013

This is only the outer wall of what once was a palace. This is where the ladies of the court would look out at the locals etc. We had an excellent view from across the road and up to a roof top, if you have a guide they will not be too happy about this, as there are shops etc, that they don't get a commission from. We went back after our tour, did a spot of shopping and were invited to see the Hawa Mahal from the roof, best way to see it.
