Loved this place, really beautiful touches of Indian design everywhere. The rooms feel like little Indian palaces. Only wished I could have stayed longer, but they were booked out, now I know why. Food was lovely, and served poolside. I

My mum and I stayed here when she came to visit me in India. She had chosen the hotel but I couldn't have been more thrilled. The staff were friendly and helpful, the owners were conversational but also respectfully conscious that mum and I hadn't seen each other for 6months. The pool was a god send in the Rajasthani heat if April! And I would definitely return to stay here. The rooms were well laid out, there was a nice bath, old regal taps and fixtures and lots of nice touches that made the stay feel unique to any other hotel. Recommend!

My third visit to Jas Vilas and what a good decision to skip Delhi and fly straight to Jaipur after the flight from London deposited us at Indira Gandhi at some ungodly hour in the morning. Last visit was about 5 years ago so delighted to see its still in great shape - with some nice decorative additions to the paintwork. The rooms are not luxurious (but perfectly fine, impeccably clean and comfortable beds) but what makes it work is the atmosphere of supreme relaxation and the solicitousness of the owners and the staff. We promptly fell asleep on our balcony only to wake up in time for gin and tonic and a tasty dinner. A real haven that allows you to ease into India gradually, It'll always be my preferred destination to start a trip.

Room Tip: We (three of us traveling together) took a room on the second floor because it had a table and chair...

An efficiently run hotel with the owner on vigil most of the time seeing that everything ran smoothly. The bedrooms were airy and comfortable but our one on the top floor looked a little tired. It was quite a run into the heart of the city by tut-tut but nice to return to a tranquil setting at the end of the day. A decent restaurant and good breakfast.

This little gem is very homely and family run. It is situated by a busy road but is set back far enough so as not to be a problem. Great hospitality and good food. Rooms were very acceptable and staff very helpful. Nice pool and some sunloungers available. If you are looking for something other than the usual bland hotel experience this is for you!
