My husband and I spent two nights in Jas Villas during our 10-day trip to India and it was our best accommodation for the entire trip. The B&B is run by its owners, a very lovely and pleasant couple.
The decoration of the place is really beautiful (all walls are hand painted) and it does provide a quiet and peaceful refuge from all the hustle and bustle of Jaipur city. We arrived around 10pm on the first day and as we were coming directly from Agra, we had not had a chance to have dinner. Even though the kitchen was already closed, they allowed us to have dinner in the hotel – and the food was absolutely delicious!
The entire hotel, including the rooms, is very nicely decorated. Rooms are really spacious and clean. Staff is very polite and helpful.
One thing that impressed me was how proud the staff is of working in Jas Villas. While we were waiting for dinner to be ready, we were walking around the hotel and one of the waiters came along and started showing us all the paintings in the dining room and the veranda at the front.
On the second day, my husband and I were woke up feeling very ill, certainly for something we ate in the previous day. When we finally managed to leave the room, around lunch time, we mentioned to the owner we were not feeling well (Delhi belly); as soon as we did, he did not allow us to go out before being seen by the doctor; we were prescribed some medicine and they arranged for someone in the staff to go to the chemist and buy everything for us.
They do not offer room service, however, as we were really ill, they arranged for food to be sent to our room in the evening and they also ensured we complied with the very restricted diet prescribed by the doctor.
The next day we were feeling much better and they arranged for a taxi to take us around Jaipur and visit the main places. They were also flexible with our check out time, in case we started feeling ill again. We were also able to have a quick shower before leaving the hotel.
In the last night, we also had dinner in the hotel restaurant and as we were looking at the menu, we found out the owners had given orders to the kitchen staff not to serve anything spicy to us – so sweet!
Jas Villas is by far the best place to stay in Jaipur and I definitively recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

Room Tip: Look for a room with a view to the swiming pool. The road in front of the hotel is very noise, ensure you do not stay in one of the rooms facing the front garden.

This is actually more like a B & B rather than a hotel. Beautiful place with a lovely garden at the front. There are some nice furnishings/decor throughout the villa that gives it a warm welcome. Room was fairly spacious but a little dated and not as clean as I expected. Being a small establishment, they don’t have the manpower to provide food at all times. For e.g. we had to wait till after 8pm to order meals (for a la carte) as the kitchen was busy preparing meals for buffet first which was a bit annoying. Friendly staff and the owners make a good effort to have a chat with us during diner. Location – not that centrally located. Overall good stay. Recommended if you are looking for something different to a hotel.

We arrived here on 11 February and stayed for two nights. Our room was pretty, with a patchwork quilt! I did not like that the room adjoined another couple's as we have a 3 year old boy who is noisy in the morning and I felt we would wake them! The pool was cold, but then that's me. The garden was nice to laze in at the end of a tiring day, with a G&T. The food was excellent.

Nice, clean and quiet with fantastic food. Fantastic people really making you feel comfortable. Giving also good advise what to see, where to go etc. Food choice for the dinner is not huge, but all the dishes are very tasty. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Top floor rooms are the sunniest but you can expect soem pigeons at the balcony

Jas Vilas is a family run hotel that has a wonderful combination of friendly staff with a very professional approach to service. Train station pickup, drop off, taxi arrangements were excellent and even though we arrived at 6am and left at 11pm a couple of days later it was all handled to make us feel comfortable and welcome. After two overnights on trains, it was wonderful to be directly shown to our room well before normal check in time!
The food and restaurant service is excellent. The hotel is small and it seemed that both couples and families felt at home. Restaurant has a balance of international and Indian dishes.
The hotel is not in the center of town, but the sites in the town are easily reached by auto-rickshaw or taxi and the hotel arranged a taxi to take us to the sites in the hills outside of town.
