this has been a must visit place on every trip to Jaipur..and I have been a witness to its loosing out as a tourist destination. I remember on my first visit to this place in 2001, the food, their variety was just too good....but now things have sobered down. The variety in their food menu has gone down and so has their quality. But more than that, on my recent visit I realised that it is very very crowded(maybe the crowd id enormous on a Saturday evening and is better on a weekday), which I feel has a direct impact on the hygiene maintained, which is very important.

Apart from the Rajasthani food which is a big pull, atleast for me, the overall ambiance of the place giving it a village flavor is good...there are small fun things to do such as a palmist reading yr hand, an astrologer with a parrot, fun rides, mehendi, dances, music, elephant rides, wrestling etc etc....

Beautiful, colorful, Extravagant! Fun... Here you will have all Mini Rajasthan! its a small village created , and here you will find all Rajasthani activities at low rates but you are paying 500 rs per person at the entry already which includes your one time meal , and entry to the village.
Do not shop here, go to Bapu bazar for that , and the catch is, check the price you wanna buy here and just divide it by two and bargain for that price for same thing in Bapu bazar ! :P
The food is awesome, and the way they made you have the food is typical Indian style . What I loved was the hospitality............

Room Tip: reach around 4 PM at the opening time of Chokhi Dhani if you wanna enjoy it to the fullest and have a night stay in the resort if pocket permits!

Over priced..but still value for money, resort is quiet popular destination in Jaipur. Overall what I liked was food, courteous staff, well maintained. There remains huge crowd on holidays , so to overcome this & making use of it, Resort has high tariff & entry ticket rates.

The resort is a great place to spend a day or two with family. The amenities, rooms and the overall village-like setup of the resort is very nice. The adjacent chokhi dhani village that comes alive every evening is an amazing experience! While the traditional way of eating Rajasthani meal at the village is a good experience, the food per se is very ordinary. Besides, the service at the resort is not up to the mark. Overall experience (especially the evening spent at the village) is good!
