“Jaipur Inn - Means value for money”
Reviewed December 11, 2008

We came to this hotel because our travel agent from Delhi had booked an alternative accomodation in Jaipur which was one hell of a dingy place. We called up Pushpendra Bhargav - the owner of Jaipur Inn requesting him to help us with accomodation. Here we were - two ladies and a 6 year old girl standing in the old market place in Jaipur without any accomodation one fine evening and when we call this gentleman - Pushpendra, he obliged without any hesitation. Phew!!! We were thrilled. And when we step into the hotel, wow!!! an absolute homely feeling. Rooms are big & neat and very clean bathrooms. We tired soles were so thrilled and the ambience was so welcome that we got ready in a jiffy and were all set to for another hour long drive to Chauki Dhani after a day long drive from Noida. The self service restaurant served yummy parathas for breakfast the next day morning, hmmmm reminded me of my mom :) I actually called her up while having breakfast and told her that I was not actually missing her, because I am getting to eat parathas just like the ones she makes!!!!! I am already making plans for my parents and my uncle's family's visit to Jaipur, and their stay - Jaipur Inn its going to be!!!!

Accesability & Location: Well in the heart of the city and very easy to locate. One need to take care of the one-ways. The hotel has phamplets which guide you of the one-ways and directions to reach the hotel

Cleaniness & Astetics.: Good & Value for money

Room service: Has a self service canteen and one need to eat in the dining area or you need to carry food yourself to your room

Assistance: The hotel staff were very friendly and guided me on the tousrist points and other local information

Overall, a good hotel with a value for money

This place is quite unique. It has an interesting and appealing ambience. It has a cute, homely and friendly ambiance and not the airs of pompous star hotels. Owner Pushpendra is very friendly - he engages you in conversation and establishes the setting for a cozy stay at the hotel. He was very accommodating even when our reservation agent conveyed incomplete information regarding our needs - Pushpendra was gracious and provided for 4 against the reservation of 3 at no extra cost to us. Food is homely and servings large. Pushpendra is very helpful - when we forgot some stuff in the hotel, he obliged us by mailing our stuff back to us.

When I checked out the website of this hotel, prior leaving Delhi I wasn't actually impressed. But then, it did make a difference when we reached the hotel. THIS IS A NEAT PLACE!..The staff are excellent, rooms ultra clean and most importantly the toilets very well maintained and aesthetically tiled (They have 'jaguar' fittings in the bathrooms [for all those who dont know what jaguar is, it's a high end brand of bathroom fittings in India]). The rooms are made jaipur style which reflects in their blankets, cupboards. Our room had a fridge as well! Best part of this family run joint is that the space is very well utilized. There are roof gardens where you can chill out with a drink or so and the roof top restaurant (didn't give a kick though) as well. In fact we were thinking we would have been better off if we had spent some more time in Jaipur Inn rather than going around Jaipur. They do not have room service. It is claimed that since most of the tourists are foreigners(which is true - I could see it myself) they prefer self service and well, the food which is served at the cafe is still pretty good. Also the folks who run this Inn are quite friendly. It's run by a retired defense service gentleman and he promptly makes it a point to have a conversation or two with you. I couldn't end this without a mention of Mr. Pushpendra, who is the Man incharge. He is very soft, gentle , helpful, well mannered and most of all speaks good english. On the whole it was a great time we had at Jaipur INN.

It was a wonderful stay and we highly recommend it.
Our room was beautifully decorated, clean, confortable and with hot water.
The rooftop terrace offered us a great view.

They were very helpful, great host and made us feel very welcomed and at home.

Best place we have stayed in India!!!

We loved our time there so much and, if we return to Jaipur, definitely we will stay in Jaipur Inn again .

A clean, friendly hotel, good facilities and a nice oasis away from the busy streets. Lovely rooftop terrace to sit in the evenings, Speedy, cheap internet. Refreshments available all day and evening. Good rooms, ours had a cute balcony and a four poster bed. Best place we have stayed in India.

We're just back from a 2 day and 2 night trip to the stunning city of Jaipur and a beautiful hotel called Jaipur Inn.
We arrived quite late for a city like Jaipur but had no problem checking in.
Beautiful rooms, very tastefully decorated. Ethnic decor, traditional paintings, a well stacked library, awesome rooftop for a quiet party and a wonderful English Breakfast (free with the stay).
We had no hassels about checking out and keeping our luggage at the hotel. A wonderful gesture.
The owner, a well spoken gentleman then went out of his way to book a cab which we required urgently to return to the airport.
All in all a great stay and absolute value for money..
