We just stayed one night as we were just here for the weekend. Staff was friendly and professional. The room was very clean, and bed comfortable. No complaints. Will definitely stay here again! Recommend this hotel as a nice place to stay.Prem and rajendra were amazing, .This was an incredibly nice hotel for the value. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, there were lots of amenities, and the waiting areas and restaurant were immaculate. The food at the restaurant was really tasty for a good price. Finally, the service was incredibly friendly and accomodating. Great hotel!

The property is a heritage property and well maintained as with all Taj hotels .The property has best italian and north indian food i have had in Jaipur and suites just act as time machine .Though the room amenities are a bit out dated but are in perfect working condition , They have plenty of choice in rooms though i would recommend suites on the first floor but room with a private sit is also an option worth considering .

The staff is well trained and informed ,and they have a good menu of pillows ,so you will be spoilt for options .

But as with many big hotels don't expect a flawless service .

Room Tip: The suites are excellent .

Stayed with my parents for some time at this property between 10th to 13th august. It was a bit difficult to locate due to the metro work nearby. However the moment u step inside the property u know u re in a TAJ. From the doorman to the reception staff everyone is all smiles. The politeness and the service makes u feel like a king. The staff especially a female whose name i forgot( the one who oversaw the seating arrangements in the dining area) were really friendly. Chatted a lot with us. The food as usual was quite good. The cultural prog in the evening with the fire eater was memorable. The property is beautiful except for the swimming pool which somehow seems odd. A really nice place to rest and recharge

Staying in heritage hotels in India is a great experience and a refreshing change from the newer purpose built chain hotels. This hotel is well situated for visiting the centre of Jaipur - a 20/30 minute (hair-raising!) tuctuc ride (200 rupees) to the City Palace - and yet peacefully located in lovely grounds with a well kept pool area where the attendants do not let you lift a finger! Standard rooms are on the smallish side but do have a separate shower which was just as well because, when we ran a bath, the water was brown - probably the same colour as the water from the shower head but at least we couldn't see that!
Buffet breakfasts and lunches were ample and of a good standard. The weddings which took place on the Saturday and Sunday were a bonus and did not disturb our sleep as the music stopped just after 11pm - in fact it distracted from the noise of the tooting trains!

The Jai Mahal is quietly located away from the city. The converted palace has beautiful grounds and the rooms were clean, comfortable and had character. The pool was inviting and the food in the Indian restaurant was very good, the best aloo gobi I've yet to eat. The staff were courteous and helpful answering all our questions about the city. We were greeted in a friendly manner with a cool drink and personalized service. The tour desk arranged a day tour of the city and Amber Palace. Our driver even went out of his way to help me find the peacock blue sari I had been searching for. However, I was a bit disappointed with the spa, I had hoped for something with a bit more atmosphere, but the massage was still good.

This hotel is in a beautiful location away from the chaos of Jaipur city. Beautiful gardens, peaceful surroundings are the highlight of this heritage hotel. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. Food was really good, although the Italian restaurant was a little overrated. The Indian cuisine was top notch though, and the buffet breakfast a wonderful start to the day. Mostly quiet rooms, with good wifi access (although at an additional cost). This hotel was the highlight of my trip!!

There is no denying this hotel and grounds are very good. My wife and I went there as part of an organised tour and whilst we enjoyed our stay the place is let down by poor service. Perhaps we had been spoiled by the dedication of staff at several other hotels we visited in India but to get something as simple as coffee after a meal involved a long wait and several reminders - we were there several nights. Ironically they were quick enough to get you to sign the drinks bill. (drinks, especially wine are very expensive) To be fair it appeared to be a shortage of staff as the few waiters that serviced the restaurant were working flat out so clearly they need more staff which, given India's low wages and unemployment should not be a problem. There you have it, a lovely place to stay and beautiful grounds but they need to get a grip on the service you expect and receive in other Indian 5 star hotels to get top reviews
