Firstly I would like to Thank the entire Shahpura House Staff for their service , Politeness & Friendly behavior ...

Very well maintained hotel just too good I have never seen a hotel so clean & hygienic. Words are not the way I can express my stay at this Heritage hotel...

I would urge people around the globe to visit this place and see with their own eyes and experience it.

Also the entire hotel staff is honest, “ I accidently paid a sum of INR 2200 which they immediately called up and let me know and even got it transferred to my a/c within a day”
I haven’t seen any hotel in India including 5** they will not even bother letting the customer know about it, But Special thanks to the Virendra Singh @ the reception counter who initiated the honesty.

Also not to forget the tasty and a lovely food prepared by their chefs…. Keep up the gr8 job guys

Three cheers to Shahpura House.

Strongly Recommended..Go for it !!!!

A little away from the city centre in a quiet street. That makes for a peaceful stop from the hustle and bustle of a very busy city but does mean that without a drive by taxi there is nowhere near for an evening meal. Not that you really need that choice because the hotel has a very pleasant rooftop restaurant, decorated in Desert tent style, it looks better than it sounds. Food was a good choice reasonably priced with excellent service and with some evening entertainment in the form of an hour long dance show. Rooms are variable dependant on your choice. All are very clean and very well decorated, much better than its price level suggests, it really is very nice, it’s just whether you consider it worth the extra for just a one or two night stop for the better rooms as the standard rooms look inward to a courtyard or outside corridor with a frosted curtained window. Rooms although decorated in antique style are well equipped with satellite tv, tea and coffee etc. With excellently decorated public areas and a good pool this really is an example of a well finished hotel. Breakfasts are buffet with the normal full range of Western dishes plus Indian. And service for tea and coffee is polite and efficient. Highly recommended for whenever in Jaipur.

Stayed here for 4 nights, 5 days. Very comfortable and felt good to come back after a day in hectic Jaipur. We had a shared balcony over the rooftop restaurant with a few other suites on the 3rd floor, which was almost always empty and very nice for relaxing.
Excellent decor in the room and all around the "haveli", definite heritage feel.
The food was pretty good, not excellent. Having said that, we ate a lot of our meals there, so not bad at all. The service was excellent, really attentive and respectful staff, and no weirdness with people lingering around for tips.
Distance from the center of the city was a boon for us, since we wanted somewhere quiet, and especially since we had a rental car/driver when we needed to go into town. But I can see that being an issue for some people.

After a warm welcome with tomato soup in a fantastic room, we were shown to our room. Nice, spacious and with a nice bathroom (including hari dryer for the ladies...) . Our extra bed was already in the room, not common during our stay in India. The hotel has a nice small swimming pool which we did not use because the water is not heated, so to cold to swim in december.

We had a nice dinner at the roof top restaurant, with Rajasthani dance show. Food was not extremely expensive and they also serve Indian beer (Kingfisher, good taste). Staff was friendly and abundant. The hotel is to far away from the centre to walk but this also means no traffic noise. For Jaipur is a big city with a lot of traffic and thus a lot of noise, a quiet retreat in the hotel is very welcome. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel.
