“WOW , Could be the Best Hotel i Have Ever Stayed In !!!”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

Stayed here for 3 nights in Feb 2013 as part of a large group of visitors , hotel exceeded all expectations in every area . The welcome we received was incredible , our room was , to say the least , amazing , almost didn't unpack as thought that they must have made a mistake , they had not , how special we felt !!
We ate in various restaurants , all top notch , breakfast was fantastic , and the Polo bar in the evening was great . Apologies for all the late nights , but am sure it was worth it for you financially !!!
We had a few drinks at the Steam bar , a very special place , great ambience and very chilled ,
The grounds of this hotel are well worth taking the time to view , the pool area is relaxing and classy . We had a trip around the hotel grounds in a horse drawn carriage , a great touch , hotel also has Vintage cars available to try.
Hotel has a very traditional , yet also a modern feel about it , if you told anyone you were staying at the Rambagh Palace they looked at you very enviously . Hotel shops very nice and reasonably priced , would love to return here and may well do in the future . This hotel has definitely set the standard for all future hotel visits .
Well done to all at the Taj Rambagh Palace , we loved our stay .

Room Tip: We stayed in room 123 , highly recommend this or anything similar

We were only in Jaipur for 2 days and 1 night and chose Rambagh Palace on the recommendation of family. It is one of the best hotels (if not the best) we have ever stayed in. The service was outstanding from the moment when we were met at the gate and taken to the entrance in a vintage convertible led by 2 guards on horseback then showered with rose petals as we walked up the steps to the hotel. We later did a historical walking tour of the palace which was fascinating and ended up in the Polo lounge for complimentary champagne and canapés. We stayed in room 225 which is a Palace Room but was even nicer than most other Palace Rooms - it was absolutely stunning with a marble staircase and a 4 poster bed. Dinner was in the signature Indian restaurant and was truly outstanding. I would run out of superlatives if I tried to describe the entire experience - just go and see for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: The Palace rooms are all lovely but 225 is on 2 levels and is just stunning. I didn't see any o...

Great property on paper. But once I was there it didn't impress me. Maybe I was spoilt by staying in some better hotels in UDAIPUR. Maybe I was expecting too much from it but u know u can only compare a hotel to its peers. So it's good or some who hasn't been to competition.

The goods are the exceptional staff and the bad are the dated rooms and decor

We stayed here four nights in the Sheesh Mahal suite-palace of mirrors. This hotel is centrally located in beautiful grounds and all aspects are outstanding. The only fault I felt was the lack of choice in the number of the establishment's restaurants.A great place to stay and see the multi sights of jaipur. The Amber Fort is unbelievable.

Room Tip: go for a suite

It is like a palace from the moovies decorated in a very impresive way
The grounds are beautiful, nice gardens and fountains exactly how I imagine a true palace in India
They have a very nice terrace perfect for the high tea and lanch with a nice view to the gardens
We had drinks and coffeee to the bar and I didnt like my capuccino so they didnt charge at all and apologise. We werw very much in hurry and maybe they move to slowly but the service was good and the way how the served the drinks very nice
It is a very nice place to stay after a day in the chaotic India and the old city of Jaipur
You will feel like in an other world
Higly recomended

I laughed out loud upon entering the hotel as I was blown away by the welcome and the beautiful grounds - I could not quite believe my eyes. It was my boyfriend's birthday and we were upgraded to an enormous room and treated to cakes, chocolates and roses - how wonderful! If I could afford to live in this hotel... I would! This hotel is expensive, but if your are treating yourself or someone special, you wont be disappointed.

Stayed there in a LUXURY ROOM (room 342) while my friends stayed at a palace room. The experiences were totally different from each other. Their room was wonderful and also the bathroom. My room was very old and it has some stairs to reach it that were not confortable. The bathroom was also very old. The air conditioner in the room was also not cooling and literally left me sweating. The staff is very nice and cooperative. If you intend to go there I recomend that you pay U$ 100 more per a day but stay at a Palace Room.

Room Tip: Ask for a Palace Room! Do not stay in Luxury Rooms.
