We stayed here for 3 nights and the hotel was excellent. We were treated like royalty and the service was humbling. Our room was clean with great decor. We had dinner one night in the rajput and it was fantastic. The steam restaurant is not bad. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is expensive but worth every penny.

I was there a few days back as a part of my company convention. This Hotel is really "Royalty Personified". Just stepping into this hotel makes you feel like a royalty. Right from the time they picked us up from the train station to the time they dropped us back we were really a royalty for them. We were pre-checkedin, our room keys were available the minute we entered the reception. The welcome was warm. The room are fantastic to say the least. Most of the rooms differ from each other. The interiors are also very aesthetically done up. The room was huge, spacious and airy. As usual the food excellent and the staff hospitality warm. And all this even after the complete Hotel was booked. I have the luck of staying at TAJ hotel twice in the last 3 months and i am compelled to stay that they have impressed beyond measure. Would definitely stay with a TAJ hotel again.

Room Tip: I stayed in room # 122 it has 2 double beds a huge front sitting area and a porch which open into th...

This the place to stay if you want to experience royalty and immaculate service. Being an avid traveller, I have been to a number of hotels in India and abroad, over the past years and will rate my stay at the Udaivilas, as the best so far. The service was terrific right from our pick up from the airport till our place.

Being an avid traveller, I have been to a number of hotels in India and abroad, over the past years and will rate my stay at the Udaivilas, as the best so far. The service was terrific right from our pick up from the airport till our drop. In fact, we had an early morning flight on our return and the hotel laid out a mini breakfast at 6 am in the hotel lobby. The staff is courteous and they make u feel genuinely welcome and like royalty. Apart from the breakfast we had two meals at the hotel and both were absolutely delicious. The Rajasthani dishes in particular were outstanding. The property is large and beautiful and the rooms lovely. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

We spent 3 nights at this Amazing Palace - having the Best from Best time.

We normal stay at state of the art Hotels, But this experience, in this Palace was Unique and Amazing.

The room ( we were UG to the SURYAVANSHI SUITE) was simply marvelous: huge living room with antiques, large marble bathroom, dining room and AMAZING bedroom.

The bathroom & Bedroom was so Amazing and we felt like the Maharajah and Maharani.

Every day fresh fruit and cookies was delivered to the room and when it was our Anniversary date they replaced the bed-sheets to a red satin with many small gift for a super romantic experience.

Hotel Dining Room was so fabulous and the Food despite being a bit expensive was the best we had in India, the chef itself came to greet us and we had a small discussion with him ( he is lovely guy).

Breakfast was good.

The SPA and pool area are wonderful as well - you are getting complimentary cold water and Lemonade once you entered the area and the Pool team assist you with a towel immediately when you out of the water.
The Spa treatment was superb as well however we did find some availability problems as the hotel was full.
The Hotel own several Antique cars and the Drive was kind enough to take us on a ride on a ford 35 from 1936 cabriolet - we felt like a real Royalty!
The Hotel Staff are nice, welcome listening and speak very well English.

All in all with the visit to Jaipur fort and Agra momentum this hotel stay was the Dream that came true... we felt like we live in the old day...Live the dream.

Room Tip: Do not Compromise on the Historical Suite!

I selected Rambagh due to location not knowing the history of the palace before I arrived. I was extremely impressed by the palace and how it looked. The atmosphere was very calm and the staff were brilliant. It is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The hotel is in its own 42 acre grounds so you are in the city but in a nice quite, peaceful and tranquil location where you can relax.

Location: Right in the centre of town and lose to all attractions and the train station/airport so ideal!

Room: Amazingly decorated and comfortable. It was very clean and had all amenities you require. The room was huge and looked very impressive with some nice touches. Shower was very good.

Facilities: The facilities available were top class. Although i didn't manage to use the gym and spa it looked brilliant. The numerous restaurants were well decorated as it would have looked when the maharaja was living there. The atmosphere in them was amazing and the food was also of a very high quality. Of special notice should be the view of the fort from the restaurants adjoining the lawn which is fantastic in the evening.

Overall this property is amazing and if you are looking for a great experience of how a maharaja lived or a palace or simply want to experience luxury or a great Indian hotel then look no further. You will not be let down by visiting here.

Room Tip: Any room would be in a great location

First impressions at the Rambagh were amazing, staying in a Maharaja's Palace with all of e service that you would have expected in Colonial times. The grounds are vast with many peacocks and other birds roaming freely. The Palace itself is beautiful with lots to do if you happened to be stranded in Jaipur during the monsoon rains (as we were). There wasn't really too much that you couldn't compliment the place for, except that some of the smaller things were probably in need of finishing. All f the staff were amazing and very attentive - I'm actually quite surprised to see at least 1 review complaining of the service, as if anything I was craving for someone not to ask me how my stay was going or if they could do any more for me, such was the attention that we received while staying there. Another thing that really surprised me was how reasonably priced the food was in the restaurants and in room service. While staying at similarly rated hotels elsewhere in the world, you would expect to pay and very high price, however at the Rambagh they didn't get too carried away. Would definately stay again and recommend it to friends and family.
