It is cheap, it is fast and it is near the center of the city. All reasons not to miss it. From the top you get a good view over the city, and you feel the presens of history while climbing the "stairs".

Fees: 20 INR (adult entry)

I don't see any references to Swargasuli Tower there. On the slab, the minaret was described as Isarlat.

+ point:
(1) Very beautiful 360 degrees panoramic view of Jaipur. You can see the Jantar Mantar and City Palace clearly from here (see my photos).

- point:
(1) It's 140 feet in height so it can be quite a climb depending on your fitness but I feel that the view is worth it!

First of all, ask yourself if you ever even imagined you would be inside a minaret, much less at the top of one! The view is amazing, it is serene inside, and the walk up is not too bad. Thoroughly enjoyable experience, on many levels. A bargain at only 20 rupees.

The tower provides a gorgeous, birds eye view of the "Pink City." I was gently surprised by a group of monkeys at the site who were curious and added a sense of the exotic to my visit to this historic tower.
