Owner description: Galtaji Temple, Jaipur A pre-historic Hindu pilgrimage site, the Galtaji Temple, is located only 10km away from Jaipur. One of the jewels of Jaipur, the temple complex encompasses natural fresh water springs and 7 holy 'kunds' or water tanks. Among these kunds, the 'Galta Kund', is the holiest one and is believed to never get dry.

This was one of the best trips from Jaipur which is 30 mins away.
It is a bathing area on 3 levels and several temples spread around the lower areas.
Women seem to use the large lower pools and children the smaller middle one. There are several vendors of monkey food if that is your want.
This is a very authentic experience as it is a holy place and I can throughly recommend it as a bit of genuine India.

Well worth a visit.

An odd place to visit but interesting. Take some money to buy nuts for the monkeys and also as an offering in the monkey temple itself. It's a fairly long walk up and down hill to get to the temples themselves.

from the top it was quite unexpected that there can be such a beautiful place on going down. If you are travelling by car you can bring your car down too altho the road is not too decent but that is just to avoid the walking. All in all it was really beautiful.
