“Ultra Modern Hotel with Spectacular Service”
Reviewed October 15, 2013

We stayed at the Marriott, Jaipur just for a night and the hotel was accommodating enough to extend late check out courtesy to us as our flight was in the evening. Keeping up to their brand name, Marriott, Jaipur has done a fantastic job and it is one of the best modern place to stay (if you do not like to choose palaces/ Haveli for your stay). The location (drive to the airport is just 5 minutes) of this hotel makes it most preferred by travelers but that's not all. The rooms are carefully decorated and utilized maximum space to give enough space within. The main restaurant "Okra" has been our all time favorite and chefs/ Managers make sure you have everything you could ask for. Chef Sahil Arora has been a darling meeting all our needs not only pertaining to food but everything else. Bhawani, the Restaurant Manager is another person to mention as he has been a great help throughout our stay. Though it was a very short stay for us, but we thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality extended. The only time I got a little worried at the time of check out when after calling for more than half an hour, our luggage were not brought down and we almost missed our flight hadn't it been delayed. But I suppose the Bell desk staffs were extremely busy with some group check in and they hurried their way as I made noise in the reception

Room Tip: Take a pool view room, the room with a city view has no view

Dear Guest ,

I thank you for choosing to stay with and taking time to review your experience in such detail. I’m pleased to know that you were impressed by our services and facilities. Your kind words have been shared with our Executive chef Sahil Arora and our restaurant manager Bhawani and they are truly delighted to know that were able add a spice of joy during your visit.
We are very proud of Okra, our all day dinning restaurant that serves exquisite delicacies from all over the world; a great effort has gone in from our executive chef and his team to create a sumptuous buffet spread.

I thank you for your feedback on the delay on your Check, this has certainly highlighted possibilities for improvement in our services .

I look forward to welcoming you again at Jaipur Marriott.

Best Regards

I had stayed at Marriot during my official visit to the city. The stay was fantastic. After the hectic meetings, the ambience of the hotel gave us much more relaxed experience as though we were in holiday. The restaurant was good. The staff were very friendly. On the whole very good experience.

The hotel cars are expensive, you would think despite its far location they would offer a better price for transportation into the city.
No real good advice on where to go for specific services and the WiFi is chargeable.
The okra restaurant and lovely roomd make up for the poor location and expensive hotel cars/ WiFi.

Marriott being a late entrant to the city of Jaipur, have hit it right. Located in peaceful surroundings, next to the Airport (the airport is in the city), next to the biggest Mall, and having a non congested approach to the tourist attractions. Rooms are large, clean, modern decor. Breakfast is exceptionally well spread out - Typical Indian 5 star hospitality. Well stocked bar playing live music on Fridays and DJ on Saturdays attracts the young and rich of Jaipur. Stayed here twice in one month and did not see the NRI photo clicking family crowd of Ram Bagh Hotel or the Pappaji Delhi weekend crowd of Rajputana Hotel here - its good or bad for you , you decide. Pool was relaxing and Gym has a good support staff and equipments. Health club needs improvement badly.

Dear Guest,

Thank you so much for such a wonderful review. I am happy to know that you had a wonderful stay and appreciated everything about Jaipur Marriott. I agree with you on the newness Jaipur Marriott has brought into the pink city whether it is Okra our 24 hour multi cuisine restaurant offering sumptuous spread of world cuisine or Lounge 18 our transitional lounge and bar that has completely transformed the party scene in Jaipur, the tranquil swimming pool, one could spend hours there not knowing how time passed by. I am proud of my team who really took care of you and made sure you had a wonderful trip.

I thank you for your valuable feedback on the health club, its feedback like this that gives us room for further improvement.

Absolutely fantastic hotel in terms of the amenities, staff friendliness, service and the overall experience. The hotel is very comfortable and irrespective of the type of traveler - business, leisure, family, holiday - all specific needs are addressed. The food options in restaurants as well as in room dining were very good, which at times you miss in large hotel chains.

Room Tip: Rooms which overlook the pool also face a large convention center wall. Hence there is no view from...
